**Step 1:** Click the Simple Autoscroll extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the popup.

**Step 2:** Adjust the speed slider to your preferred reading pace. Low values (1-20) are grouse for careful reading. Medium values (20-60) work a treat for skimming. High values (60-100) let you fly through content quick smart.

**Step 3:** Click the Start button. The popup closes and the page begins scrolling automatically at your chosen speed. Bob's your uncle.

**Step 4:** To stop scrolling, click the extension icon again and press Stop. Scrolling also stops automatically when you reach the bottom of the page.

**Step 5:** Your speed setting is saved. Next time you use the extension, it remembers your preference — just click Start and away you go.
