⭐️ Chrome prevents you from going to a complete full-screen when using any extension manipulating with sound so you can always see the blue rectangle icon in the tab bar (to be aware of audio is being manipulated). There's no way to bypass it and after all it's a good thing that keeps you safe. However you can improve the situation a bit by pressing F11 (on Windows) or Ctrl+Cmd+F (on Mac).

can control voice and bass,good for hearing problems or old laptops :) bass isn't amazing but keep in mind that its based off the device its used on. mines a decade old so bass wise its no JBL lol.

Great tool. Easy to use. Wish you could leave a review or make a donation or something to get rid of the little star review portion at the bottom of the screen. Makes the experience "noisy." Other than that, really cool little utility.

This extension has been a Godsend since I began losing my hearing after turning 60. Recently, I've also developed tinnitus; that incredibly annoying ringing in the ears that has no identifiable cause or any kind of cure - the combination of the two had been making my computer use increasingly frustrating; once I found 'VOLUME MASTER', I can fully enjoy all the sounds the internet has to offer! It's very user-friendly, and I've never had a problem with it - finding an extension that's dependable and reliable is a real bonus!

Works SO well!! I like to study with someone else on facetime (using a macbook air) and normally any other sound is way too quiet with facetime open. This bypasses that annoying feature, and I can increase other video's volume by so much and It has worked on every website i've needed it to so far. This extension also does not make the sound sound "muffled," like other extensions do, and the sound is still clear even at 600% (highest) which really never has to be used lol. Highly recommend!

Love it and it has helped a lot with those low volume clips on youtube or other videos, but is there a way to set a universal value so that the value is above 100% by default on every tab opened? I have to change the volume every tab i open. Also there's a weird interaction with this extension and the "fullscreen" [ ] button, i have to click it, then zoom in and out of the page to get the fullscreen again. But it actually became a FEATURE for me since i can use it to zoom in the body off the video while keeping my browser bar :D Update April 2026-04-15 : The latest update in last few days has hte Volume Master getting stuck between tabs instead of resetting to 100% again, and the volume would be 600% from the sound but showing 100%, then i click on 110% ffor example and the voice goes lower closer to default again, until i move it again to 600% then the number properly reflects the actual increase in volume.
