• (2024-08-01) Erica Brooks: I love using the Giphy extension to easily add animated GIFs to my messages. Unfortunately as of today (8/1/24), it stopped working. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the extension multiple times. I restarted Chrome, restarted my Mac, and updated Chrome. None of that helped fix the issue. Hoping that an update gets rolled out.

• (2021-02-07) Ian Arcuri: Excellent extension. Only thing I would change is I would stop it from adding the little line of text that is added as an advertisement, at the bottom of the Gif. Easy enough to delete and not a real deal-breaker.

• (2018-05-17) John-David Sayle: Awesome and works fine. People should learn to use computers better instead of blaming the plug-in. PEBKAC. Update chrome, if you think somethings blocking the plugin head to the giphy site (if it's blocked) your firewall or web filters stopping the connection and the plugin won't work either, if you CAN access the giphy site but the plugin isn't working, then disable ALL your plugins and sign out of all your google accounts, clear your browser cache and restart Chrome, better even restart the computer. Then re-enable ONLY giphy plugin. You have to set it to be 'seen' in incognito if that's important to you. Once that works re-enable other plugins and check each time for anything stopping giphy.
