It breaks Google Search (removing the 'Google My Business' block). Caused some problems for my clients.

For Outlook Web, it simply opens the inbox instead of the composition screen.

I greatly appreciate that this extension includes Fastmail, among other more widespread webmail providers. That said, it would be nice if the left-click action on the Mailto: toolbar button opened up a compose window, rather than opening the context menu. This means you need to click twice to open up the compose window, for no reason.

There is an issue however. I've been using and loving it for quite a while but siddenly it does not open in YAHOO as I request but GOOGLE. (Using chromebooks) I think Google broke it. WIll wait for an update and keep tryng.

I am using Outlook Web Access on Chrome in Linux (Mint 20.04) and I had to me the following changes: - remove any email handler already configured in "chrome://settings/handlers" (because Chrome built-in handling takes presidence over the extension) - modify the name part of the URL for "Hotmail / Windows Live Mail / Outlook.com" in "Mailto: settings" from "mail.live.com" to "outlook.live.com" (because the redirect between them was dropping all the parameters and therefore not opening a compose window)

It partially works with AOL mail (believe it or not!) but any LINK formatting is stripped out, so it only appear as text. Have closely checked all options, and options in AOL mail, to no avail. This is needed to enable the email link on many web pages and blogs, to allow mailing out of that content. Can this be fixed??

If you want it to work for outlook.com: 1. choose option "Hotmail / Windows Live Mail / Outlook.com" 2. next to this option, click "Modify" 3. change the first part of the link: "https://mail.live.com" to "https://outlook.live.com" 4. click "add" 5. Enjoy!

Yeah, doesn't work fully, only brings up the Home page of Outlook.com, not the Compose page. Maybe the URL needs to be changed?

Funciona perfectamente. Lo he utilizado para que los Mailto me abra el Gmail, y funciona a la perfección.

I'm going to give it a week since the first seventeen tries didn't work. But, currently, the thing operates exactly as described. I'm using this extension to open OWA, the browser based program for Outlook, for work. I had to use the custom option and use the link: https://outlook.office.com/owa/?path=/mail/action/compose&to=lfkelley%40troy.edu&subject=&body=&cc=&bcc= which worked fine. If it keeps working after a week, I'll come back and update the review.

Doesn't work with Hotmail/Live Mail. Many browser resets later and no change. I'm on Windows 8.1.

This used to work fine for outlook.com webmail. But has stopped working for some reason, now it opens outlook.com but simply takes you to your Inbox, The Drafts section still has to be opened an email has to be created in the normal manner. Refreshing the tab as suggest in a previous response did not help at all.

Added to Chrome for Yahoo! mail. Quite simply, it works. Then something happened. Sometime between May 3, 2015 and Sept 15, 2018 something has changed that fundamentally affects how this and any other mailto app works in Windows 10. Today I tried not only this app but every Gmail mailto app and non of them works under Windows 10. The developer's web site has many comments to this and it appears something has happened to the developer or he has abandoned his project. In any case, until the app is updated to work with the current version of Windows, it is pretty much useless.

The extension does not pick up when changing the default mail app pattern to an alternative via "Add another service". Tried using Tutanota (https://mail.tutanota.com). The new path can be added but even if chosen via the radio bottom it never actually sets the new service as default. Useless.

"mail this pages url" took about 30secs to load compose page when using hotmail / outlook webmail (outlook.live.com). mailto link worked but also slow. I had to change URI (see issue 71 comments on support site)

Using this to open in Gmail and seems to work well. I had tried 2 other extensions before that didn't work or didn't work well. The only thing I'd like is for the email I'm sending it from to be visible, like the inbox view or something. Not sure if that's possible, though.

I was fighting for hours to get mailto links to work on my Win7 Chrome. I tried several extensions, but only this working correctly also with BCC. Only what I missing is option to set allowed sites. Now it is available only option to set sites dissabled.

Works great! Allows me to click email hyperlinks and open Gmail. People don't understand that this can only open webmail.

Did not work with Yahoo mail

Add 'system default action' back in and I'll reinstall it. Never use webmail.

The app does open outlook.com but the entire point of clicking the mailto: is to get a compose screen. With this extension it still requires me to copy and paste the URL. It's easier to do that by hand than using this app.

You used to be able to set "System default action" which I used all the time but it has been removed. It is shown on the screen shot in the Chrome web Store screen shot. i have uninstalled and reinstalled but to no effect. Windows 10 and Outlook 2013 locally installed

In Google Browser after this extension download, Choose your email provider Yahoo Mail for instance, check mark the box, then right click mail to link on the website page you want to send. Works for me. Happy!!

Did not work for hotmail/outlook. Installed, activated for outlook, restarted chrome, went to w3schools mailto example, click the link, nothing happens.
