For users on 3CX V16 Update 4 and later install the 3CX Google Chrome Extension for Click to Call functionality.

The 3CX Click to Call extension enables users of 3CX to dial numbers directly from their CRM or browser via the 3CX Web Client (Requires 3CX V15.5).

Dale Thomas 2019-12-11: Like most things with 3CX... It. Just. Works. I have found that if it is not working, I configured it incorrectly. 3CX is about the smoothest phone system you can use.
Fabio Pross 2019-11-25: Call via not working properly. I installed the 3CX Windows App on 7 Windows PCs, but i can't choose it in the dropdown. In the dropdown i get a blacked out dropdown menu where the 3CX Windows App should be. Works fine on Mac.

Sylvain Agilium 2019-07-12: L'extension en elle même ne fait pas grand chose : juste repérer les numéros de téléphone sur les sites, pour en faire des liens vers l'application de téléphonie 3CX. Et la solution 3CX fonctionne plutôt bien. Par contre pour cette extensions, il serait bien que les DEV retirent le bout de javascript : console.log('extensions loaded options ... du fichier : content_script.js Car pour les autres DEV qui utilisent la console JS ça pollue un peut.

Anonymous 2019-03-01: Doesn't acknowledge some numbers, but crucially, this extension started removing parts of webpages (Autotask) I was visiting. Entire sections of tickets I was viewing were removed shortly after loading the page. This immediately went away when I disabled this extension.

Markus Guenther 2018-11-16: Funktioniert nicht. Es passiert schlicht nichts. Telefonnummern in Formularfeldern werden nicht erkannt und man kann nichts aufrufen.
Christian Wagner 2018-10-30: It recognizes most phone numbers and converts them to a tel:0123456789 protocol link. Thus it also works with other VoIP clients like Zoiper or Bria (on macOS), if they are set as the default tel:protocol handler.
Nate Welch 2018-10-22: the concept is there, but on chrome os the url appears to point to the number I call, but the dialpad does not pop up with number populated. So the feature doesn't work correctly. I still have to manually type in the number to call.
Chris Beeler 2018-08-14: As of 08/14/2018 I'm running Win 7 Pro, using the most recent version of Softphone Client, and I have checked the extension option "Call Via" to 3CX client for Windows. The extension does not send :tel protocol clicks to the 3CX Client for Windows. In Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set Associations I made sure Protocol "TEL" & "CALLTO" were set to 3CXClickToCall. If I change the extension setting to "Call Via" 3CX Web Client, the extension works. I hope to see the Extension updated soon to work with the Windows Client

eSelect swisstime 2018-05-09: Does not work. I receive this error in chrome developer tools: "Error in response to storage.get: InvalidCharacterError: Failed to execute 'btoa' on 'Window': The string to be encoded contains characters outside of the Latin1 range."
