• (2023-06-11) Jim Hart: I wish this were better. I love Thunderbird, but this extension disappears if you do anything else on the computer, e.g. go to another tab, change apps, basically anything. And it's slow to load even though my Chromebook is one of the fastest available.
• (2022-09-12) Chad Lubrecht: At least I couldn't use it. I was trying to set up thunderbird on a chromeos machine and was a little confused why this was an extension to chrome, but installed it anyway. But as an extension I couldn't see how it did anything at all. Read the reviews and everyone seems to hate it, so maybe I got off easy. This seems useless, I guess I'll just use webmail.

• (2021-03-17) Marian Ellentuch: Nothing like expected. Bought a Chromebook to replace a PC, and Thunderbird is fave client. Figured I could set it up and continue using. 1) Its actually contacting a CentOS server and having you set up the account, EVERY TIME 2) Screen is so crowded because of advertising and compensation for the fact you're using a remote server 3) Tried to set up GMAIL account using OAUTH2, didn't work 4) Lack of security information is suspect Don't take a chance, change password and delete permission for this app ASAP!

• (2019-10-23) Alastair Whittaker: was excited to try this, but found the severely limited space allocated to meaningful display counter productive. The image was grainy and hard to read, and so little usable space left the whole experience lacking. need to do away with the side-bars, and top banner to allocate enough space, for the apps to work in a way which is worthwhile. Shame, really wanted this to work.

• (2018-09-06) Conan Purves: This is a scam and should be removed from the Chrome Web Store. I don't know quite how it works because I did not want to risk actually setting up an account in Tbird to try it, but it basically wraps what looks like a virtual environment in two big ads as well as a pop-up for something called OffiDocs. I'm surprised that Mozilla or Google haven't taken this down yet already.

  I have seen several people report this. Is this fixed? "Each time I open the client, the e-mail account I've associated with it disappears, requiring me to re-enter the address, password, etc. We need to have this FIXED or it is useless.
