Free OpenVPN Server Finder
Display up-to-date list of public OpenVPN servers provided by VPN Gate (University of Tsukuba)
This tool discovers and downloads free OpenVPN servers (download the OVPN configuration file for you). The extension is built on the VPNGate experimental project, which serves as an academic research service from the Graduate School of the University of Tsukuba, Japan. The project aims to enhance awareness of "Global Distributed Public VPN Relay Servers".
Once installed, open the panel and allow a few seconds for the VPN list to update. Then, you can select a suitable server and press the "download" button to obtain the OVPN config file.
Notable features:
1. Overcome government firewalls to access restricted websites.
2. Conceal your IP address, safeguarding your identity during Internet browsing.
3. Ensure protection with strong encryption while using public Wi-Fi.
4. You can now batch download multiple VPN profiles in a ZIP archive format

Please be aware that this extension is a simple wrapper built on top of VPN Gate's public API. It has nothing to do with the project itself.

Ничего не находит и gbitm^ Невозможно получить доступ к vpngate.net (USER_ABORT). Снова откройте это всплывающее окно, чтобы перезагрузить компьютер.

Кнопка появилась. Список обновляет. Кнопка "Скачать" не работает. Вообще.
Все работает, а чтобы "кнопка появилась", ее надо лишь закрепить на панели. Выдает актуальные сервера в США, Корее, Японии, выбираешь и скачиваешь конфиг OpenVPN. Наугад проверил 4 из 98, ко всем прошло подключение, но IP-адрес менялся на удаленный не всегда. Скорость везде некомфортная даже для чтения, однако это претензии не к расширению, оно само по себе отличное.

Работает. Есть больше, чем 3,5 сервера для выбора, несмотря на что Корея/Япония.

这个插件依赖 vpngate.net, 但 vpngate.net 本身在大陆也无法访问. 所以这个插件目前并不能达到预期的效果 -- 一个正在使用 OpenVPN GUI for Windows 的 NordVPN 用户.
