This is an EXCELLENT solution for anyone, because we all have urgent email messages where we would love a message text alerts.
You get to setup automated mobile text (SMS) alerts for:
1. Emails that you receive from specific email addresses,
2. Emails that you receive that have specific keywords in them, or
3. On an email that you sent, and are waiting back for a reply.
And once you get your mobile text alert, you could be anywhere. The full content of your email will be available right from your phone. You don't even need to check your email account.
Here is how to use this extension:
1. Install the extension.
2. Go to your Gmail™ and click on the Mobile Text Alerts icon in the upper right corner.
3. Register your mobile phone number. **Only US and Canada phone numbers. ***
4. After registering your mobile phone number, set up your rules. You can receive mobile text alerts based on the sender or subject.
Additionally, you can click on the "alert me on reply" icon while composing your email to ensure that you will receive a text alert upon receiving a reply.
