Image from store rbutr
Description from store rbutr connects rebuttals to the pages they rebut. Visit a rebutted page and you will be told "There are rebuttals to this page." You can then open up the rebutting article(s). Found a great rebuttal? Connect it to the page(s) it rebuts so that people reading those articles can know about it. Want a rebuttal for a page you have found? Submit a request to the community. Even without the plugin you can search our Browse pages and find rebuttals. There is no better tool available for finding rebuttals to specific articles on the internet. rbutr is all about mapping the great global discussion which takes place on the internet every day. Blog authors, journalists, forums posts, youtube channel owners - all of these people are creating content and other people are disagreeing with it. They are arguing against it. Rebutting it. Trying to refute it. The problem is that only the people subscribed to the rebuttal authors see the rebuttals. There is no way for the people reading the rebutted pages to follow the discussion. They don't know the rebuttal even exists! rbutr allows people to map these claim-rebuttal connections, and the counter rebuttal-rebuttal connections. rbutr allows people to follow these inter-website discussion, to follow the claims to their replies, wherever they are on the internet. With rbutr, you can share your opinions with the people who most need to see them - the people who read the arguments of people who disagree. Install rbutr and you can get your arguments in front of the other side. Install rbutr and you will be as completely informed as anyone can be on the internet. Never trapped reading agenda driven biased propaganda again. Able to simply see arguments as one small part of a much larger, inter-website, global discussion. Read it, then click through and read a rebuttal of it, then click through again and read a counter-reply. rbutr isn't about providing balance. It is about providing full access to the arguments of all interested parties, so you can see the whole picture. More often than not, debates do not have 'balance' - they have a correct side, and a whole lot of wrong sides. rbutr allows the correct side to represent itself against all of the wrong sides, and allows those wrong sides to present the best they have, so that internet users can easily see how wrong they are in the sunlight of the correct side. This is how discussions work, and this is what the internet was meant to do! If you find yourself skeptical of an argument, or think being a skeptic is generally a great idea, then rbutr is for you. Actually, rbutr is for everyone, just because you need to keep yourself fully informed. Don't get sold a biased perspective! Don't get convinced by an agenda driven article, or a collection of them. Get all sides of the debate! See more on http://rbutr.com

  • (2017-08-02) Joshua Waclawski: Not sure why this thing has so many great reviews. Had it installed for a week and found zero rebuttals to any current news articles. Clicked RANDOM 10 times and 9 of the random articles it found were religion-based. Utterly useless tool.
