  • (2023-09-24) Mumbling Mayhem: I love this, it makes switching account on IJ much easier. HOWEVER, it could be better. It needs a way to add a way to put in 'headings' and then can add each account to whichever account it goes to in order to organize and easily find which account you need.
  • (2023-05-01) Sarah Ann: Seems to be working again, which is awesome.
  • (2022-10-04) Tess: Was amazing for years, but has stopped working. The page reloads but the app hasn't logged me into the selected account. Real shame.
  • (2020-10-08) Roz: No longer works, at least for Dreamwidth. Developer seems AWOL.
  • (2020-09-17) Sallie Drazzi: It WAS a great extension, but people moving from journal sites mean its very old now, and it seems to just NOT want to work any more. I have the list of accounts, but it will just not change to any of them. RIP LJ Juggler.
  • (2020-02-05) momeraths: I used to love this extension, but it's completely stopped working! I'll click on one of my accounts and it just reloads the page without changing the account. I've tried uninstalling the extension and reinstalling but it still doesn't work. I'm really upset as it was so useful!
  • (2019-02-05) inthebloodline: Here's an idea: when you update the extension, please make sure it doesn't WIPE everything the user had stored in it. I'm sure I'm not the only user who was using it to store the details (usernames and passwords) for a few dozen accounts, so to boot up my computer this morning and see that it had updated and WIPED everything? Frustrating to say the least.
  • (2018-09-06) Jamie W: I love this app, its indispensable for my IJ accounts but it recently stopped working in chrome and I cannot figure out how to fix it! Please address this issue if at all possible!
  • (2017-12-30) Angela Davis Couling: This is *exactly* what I needed to manage all of my IJ accounts. Thank you, thank you!! It works like a DREAM!
  • (2017-12-04) Moiya Hatake: I usually love my juggler but today I can't log onto Dreamwidth at all and now my juggler is not loading, I've lost all my passwords and accounts, it won't let me add new ones even though I've removed and added the extension back several times. Someone please help.
  • (2015-01-03) Amanda Smith: I love the app. Only downside to it is when I try to open it, so I can click on an account it takes forever. And sometimes I have to click it more than once just to even get it to do the drop down list.
  • (2013-11-05) Heather MacGowan: Could do with a few of the features from the Firefox version, it would be nice to see what account I'm signed in as somewhere on the screen. Also, I really wish I could organise my accounts myself rather than having to stick to alphabetical order!
  • (2013-10-27) Cass Inea: I use this every single day. It is the best way to swap back and forth between your LJ accounts with no muss, no fuss. Click on the icon, select the account you want, refresh the page, voila. Done. That's all there is to it. Never manually login ever again.

  • (2022-10-15, v:5.3.0) Amy Coleman: LJ Juggler
It now has a bug, that lays over riskware site on googles search engine
  • (2022-10-05, v:5.3.0) Allie: LJ juggler no longer works on Dreamwidth
I don't know how long it's been busted (nor when Dreamwidth updated their stuff), but it no longer functions as intended. Expected to log in upon switching accounts (set to refresh upon selection) and all that happens is literally nothing.
  • (2020-10-10, v:5.1.0) Christine Gentes: multiple accounts showing logged in
For over a month now, every time I add a new (dreamwidth) account to LJ Juggler, it shows that account as being logged in. Meaning, it shows *multiple accounts* as logged in, regardless of which one is actually logged in. Sometimes, it shows that *no* accounts are logged in. https://i.imgur.com/ZKCUtQ0.png - here is a screencap of the problem.
  • (2020-05-25, v:5.1.0) Alex Martello: Doesn't work with LJ
It'll save your info but swapping between accounts isn't happening. Will reload the page but it won't sign you in at all no matter the account.
  • (2020-05-16, v:5.1.0) Kim Boyd: Not working on Dreamwidth
Every time I try and switch accounts on dreamwidth using juggler, it logs me out of the old one but doesn't log me into the new one. It's been doing it for the past twenty four hours. Nothing I do including uninstalling and reinstalling is having any effect on functionality.
  • (2020-05-07, v:5.1.0) Lisa H: Found a workaround for an account that couldn't be added
Hi - I was having some issues with re-adding my Dreamwidth accounts into the extension, but I think I figured out what was wrong and wanted to share it in case anybody else has been having a similar problem. I was able to add two of my favorite accounts without any problems, but the third brought up an error message and wouldn't add. (I think the error message said something like "this is usually due to a typo", but logging in manually was working so I knew the password was correct.) Eventually I realized it might have been because my password included special characters that maybe the extension wasn't able to read properly. My password manager allows you to use characters like '*', '\', and '%', which I know could screw up string/regex processing. I changed the password on the problem account to exclude special characters, and suddenly it worked. So there you go! Hope someone finds this helpful.
  • (2020-04-28, v:5.0.0) momeraths: Doesn't work with LiveJournal
I'd of hoped the update would of fixed this but this hasn't been working with LiveJournal for a few months now, which is deeply frustrating as it's the only website I use it for and it is called "LJ Juggler" after all. My version of Chrome is fully up to date, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the extension, deleting and reentering all of my accounts, still nothing. When I click on any of my accounts it just refreshes the page, it doesn't switch them over or even log me out.
  • (2020-04-27, v:5.0.0) Ashley Lyon: Adding IJ journals
Since Juggler's update to fix the Dreamwidth log-in issue, I am no longer able to add journals from Insanejournal to juggler. A few other people I know are also experiencing this same problem. I have the most up to date Chrome and Juggler. I've also tried to uninstall and re-install Juggler but it doesn't fix the problem. Can you please fix this?
  • (2020-04-26, v:4.1.0) Jessica Youngblood: New Dreamwidth auth workflow
Dreamwidth is, today, updating the auth workflow for passwords. It seems, from someone digging in the code, that this will be hit by that. So I'm giving you some warning to keep an eye out for it and update as needed.
  • (2020-02-06, v:4.1.0) Dark Angel: Livejournal.com
Works with all other livejournal based sites like dreamwidth and insanejournal, but it now has stopped working for livejournal.com itself. Please fix.
  • (2020-02-04, v:4.1.0) Paula M.O.: Does Not Work for LJ On Any Web Browser
This extension no longer works for LiveJournal on any web browser now. It worked perfectly fine yesterday; however, as of today, it no longer works on Chrome or on Firefox for LiveJournal.
  • (2019-06-28, v:4.1.0) Banah Banana: -
Why does this extension need permission to manage my downloads??
  • (2019-05-30, v:4.0.4) Gorram Wolf: Version
Will this version be updated as the firefox version was? Thank you so much for all you do!
  • (2018-12-05, v:4.0.3) Amy Coleman: This still doesn't work
Lj Juggler still doesn't work in chrome incognito mode, I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling and it is still the same.
  • (2018-10-17, v:4.0.3) Lauren Towers: too big for screen
essentially the number of journals I have on have left the extension too big too add/manage any accounts as it is too long for the screen. No option to scroll down or resize, what do I do?
  • (2018-08-16, v:4.0.3) Amy Coleman: No longer working with Incognito
It just started a few days ago, but LJ no longer works in Google Chrome's incognito, at all. It had worked like a charm up until then.
  • (2018-08-11, v:4.0.3) Mimi p: No longer working with lj
The account juggler works fantastically with both dreamwidth and insanejournal, but it stopped working with livejournal. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the juggler will no longer let me switch between livejournal accounts. Deeply frustrating.
  • (2017-12-01, v:4.0.3) Jes sica: Missing accounts
I use Chrome, multiple profiles, and on my main profile, all of my accounts are no longer listed. Which sucks for me because I forget which accounts I had on that one, but that's my bad obviously. I just wanted to point out there's maybe some kind of bug or interference or something. On two other profiles it looked like it was going to have done the same thing, but then they loaded and popped up. No luck on the main profile, even after restarting. Thanks!
  • (2017-12-01, v:4.0.3) not switching accounts
When I click an account to switch, the page doesn't refresh and switch journals on dreamwidth or insanejournal either one. really frustrating. :\
  • (2017-11-13, v:4.0.3) Callie: Not saving my accounts
And now every time I close chrome, when I open it again, the accounts are not saved.
  • (2017-11-13, v:4.0.3) Callie: All my accounts are gone
My computer turned off and when I restarted it, all of my accounts were gone. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it didn't bring them back.
