Built using the Slack API, STS retrieves a list of your public and private channels, as well as the users within your organization, and combines them into a searchable/scrollable list for easy navigation. After selecting a channel or individual user to share a link with, you are free to add an additional comment to your share to indicate why you may be sharing this URL. Permissions: STS requires the "Browsing History" Google Chrome permission in order to access the active URL you are visiting. STS requires the user, group and channel Slack permissions in order to provide you with a list of potential entities to message. Installation: To install STS, simply add the Chrome extension, visit the Settings page upon first launch and click the Auth button. You will be asked to login to your respective Slack organization and accept the above mentioned permissions. Once the permissions have been accepted, your account will be updated with the token, allowing you to share links from any Chrome browser, providing you are logged into you Google account. To revoke STS's permissions at any time, simply visit the Settings page and select the red "Revoke Access" button. • (2019-08-09) Nabil El Alaoui Sossey: This currently does not work to install in Slack for some reason. Please look into it. I'm using Chrome on a Mac. Will be using another extension in the meantime.
  • (2019-04-21) 雷特: The concept of "your Slack account" is a bit strange. Slack is built for "workspaces" that are separate from each other. A Slack account can only connect to one workspace. If you are a member to more than one workspace, this extension is pretty useless as it can handle only one at a time.
  • (2018-02-25) Four Peachy: I use slack across all my devices and this chrome extension is one that I consider to be essential. It is easy to use and works great. Thanks!

  • (2019-07-14, v:1.002010) Idan Frumin, Ph.D.: OAuth broke
When I tried to switch teams, OAuth broke and now I can get into neither of them. It's noteworthy to say the same exact thing happened with a similar extension - Quick Share to Slack.
  • (2018-09-19, v:1.002010) William Vasu: Full URL is not copied to slack
The full URL does not appear to be copied to Slack. For instance the URL https://example.1crmcloud.com/?module=KBArticles&action=DetailView&record=30551915-5aaf-92ce-40ef-5ba259104920 only comes through as https://example.1crmcloud.com/?module=KBArticles
  • (2018-05-11, v:1.002010) Thiago Villa: Support multiple teams
Please, add support to multiple teams/workspaces. #Clicky for Slack does, but their app's not reviewed at the Slack app store.
