Description from extension meta

Adds challenge progress information to your parkrun athlete results page.

Image from store Running Challenges
Description from store Use your parkrun results to complete running challenges and get badges on your profile! Become a 'Tourist', 'Alphabeteer', shout full-house in 'Stopwatch-Bingo' and many more! But why should runners have all the fun? Collect the purple volunteer badges too by helping out each week at parkrun, and level up by doing a role 5 times or more to gain stars. This extension augments your athlete results page to include your progress towards the available challenges - and adds an extra badge below your name at the top when you have completed each one. You can also have a look how your friends are doing by browsing their profiles too. Visit https://running-challenges.co.uk for more information You can set your home parkrun in the options (when you set your athlete number) to make the shortcut link go directly to your regional parkrun page (rather than it always linking to the .org.uk site), this will also give you extra map layers and stats! This extension is not official or affiliated with parkrun in any way, it was created with love by keen parkrunners who just wanted to share the fun.

As someone who has never completed a parkrun, but volunteered a lot I'm excluded from seeing any of my challenges and just get the following error message "No results detected, no challenge data will be compiled". Any chance this could be changed to include those who don't want to complete a parkrun but who volunteer? Carol James A1943493

  • (2021-11-04, v:1.2.0.92) Richard Sedgley: Extension Icon
When I click the extension icon I am taken to an error page. The link it takes me to us <https://http//www.parkrun.org.uk/parkrunner/nnnnnn/all>. It seems there is a missing colon from the link (and then Chome seems to add in an additional https://). If this is manually altered then the extension appears to behave correctly & display all the additional content. Thank you for a really great extension :-)
  • (2021-10-15, v:1.2.0.92) KEITH SPENCER: "Error: Error: Map container not found."

  • (2021-10-12, v:1.1.4.26) KEITH SPENCER: "Error: Error: Map container not found."
I love the extension (even though it means I have to get up early this Saturday to travel to WESTmill course to complete my Compass Challenge!). However the extension has recently stopped working - instead it gives me this error message. I see that I am by no means the only one with this issue. I've removed and re-installed several times. I use Chrome but have checked with MS-Edge as well but with no luck.

  • (2020-01-09, v:0.7.9.366) Pavel Mishinev: Additions
    1) Christmas Day. In Russia Christmas day - 7.01 (Ortodox x-mas day). Can you add it to challenge? 2) Compass Club In other country's there are parks called "part of the world" but they are not counted. For example: a) Milano Nord in Italy, Nord = North b) Severnoe Tushino in Russia, Severnoe = North etc can they be taken into account?
  • (2020-01-01, v:0.7.9.366) Ada Macey: Position Bingo
Would it be possible to implement a "position bingo" challenge, which works similar to stop watch bingo, but based on finish position. So, you complete the bingo when you finish in all positions between 1 and 100. 101, 201, 301 etc count as 1, 102, 202, 302 count as 2 etc to ensure everyone has a chance!
