Image from store Quickmarks
Description from store A extension to open bookmark with keyword in omnibox like what you did in Firefox. Simply type 'b {keyword}' to open the bookmark in current tab. - Simply type 'b {keyword}' to open bookmark in current tab. - Type anything to search your bookmarks. - Just press 'Enter' to open the first one in the list. - Fully compatible with SiteLauncher's keyword. - Bookmarklet is supported transparently. NOTE: It is recommended to setup a keyword to enjoy the full convenience brought to you by Quickmarks. To set keyword, append [{keyword}] your bookmark title. For example, change 'Facebook' to 'Facebook [b]' will assign keyword b to Facebook. Just type 'b f' in omnibox to open Facebook. Option page to configure keywords will be coming soon. For any bug reports or feature request, please add to my project at google code, http://code.google.com/p/quick-marks/issues/list Please enjoy. NOTE: v0.4 has improved bookmarklet support by using content scripting. You do not need to enable popup anymore. NOTE: Quickmarks might be broken in dev channel. If that happens, please try to delete your profile and try again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • (2022-03-28) Erik Nomitch: I use this extension hundreds of times a day. SO helpful. If I had to pick two extensions it would be an adblocker and Quickmarks. Would give it 6 stars if I could!
  • (2018-09-01) Shayne Holmes: Fantastic. Plays nicely with Chrome's existing stuff, so you don't even notice it's there until you need it. Fast to get to, and all-in-all great. Kudos!
  • (2015-08-30) Rohan Chakravarthy: It isn't working with Chrome on Ubuntu
  • (2014-09-24) Krr Lee: I think It`s very good program. But I have a problem. If I want to use this, I should re-install this program. I don`t know why. Plz give me an advice.
  • (2013-12-06) Martin Shin: best bookmark launcher
  • (2013-09-10) Joshua Taillon (Josh): Like this extension very much, but it no longer works with Chrome stable on Ubuntu (v. 29.0.1547.65)
  • (2013-05-27) Saad Malik: EDIT: Please fix this plugin--no longer works with Chrome dev. Such a simple and useful extension; used daily 100s of times. CTRL+L; b; <Space>; <bookmark keywords>; <Enter>
  • (2012-10-12) Jacob Graf: Really love this add-on. Wish you could select to pre-pend the keyword onto the beginning of your bookmark though so you could sort alphabetically by keyword.
  • (2012-02-14) Gary Zheng: it's pwoerful
  • (2012-01-11) Pete Koutoulas: Awesome extension.
  • (2011-10-30) mudri: @2011-08-09: You're right, it should read "Facebook [f]" not "Facebook [b]". Still, this is a really good extension, and does the job of what I was looking for. I keep my bookmarks in folders, and I assign each folder a letter, and each bookmark has it's own letter tagged on the back. For example, my [w5x] takes me to Web things -> HTML5 -> Chrome Experiments. It works a treat!

instead of using b i would like to be able to set this to something of my choosing thank you
  • (2016-05-31, v:0.92) Jeff Mitchell: Works some of the time
This works for about half of my bookmarks, but not others. I can't figure out why. I've tried changing the keyword, tried deleting the bookmark and recreating it, and so on...no luck.
  • (2015-04-17, v:0.92) Jacob Graf: Space will no longer trigger search
I've been using this extension for years and always typed b followed by a space to trigger a Quickmarks search. As of Chrome 43.0.2357.18 beta (64-bit) on Mac, space will no longer trigger the search, you have to press tab, which isn't as convenient, in my opinion.
  • (2015-02-11, v:0.91) Chen C: no longer work in latest Chrome version
open bookmarks via this extension will cause the tab page being closed. Chrome version: 40.0.2214.111 OS: Windows 7
  • (2015-01-18, v:0.9) Piotr Góralczyk: Opening folders
It would be great if there was a possibility to open all bookmarks in a folder by entering the folder's keyword.
  • (2014-12-26, v:0.9) Erik Nomitch: Do not keep the URL bar focused when the bookmark gets loaded
When I go to a Quickmark bookmark, the URL bar stays focused. In my opinion, this should not be the behavior. The URL bar should unfocus (blur) and the page should be focused. The reasoning is so that you can use the hotkeys on the page right away without having to <tab> or click on the page. I am available to implement this feature as I develop professionally. Please contact me: http://eriknomitch.com Thanks.
  • (2014-11-18, v:0.9) Will Hartzell-Baird: Extension gets disabled
I've used this extension for some time; however, recently, Chrome automatically disabled it with the message "This extension may have been corrupted by malware." If I reinstall the extension, the issue reappears more or less as soon as I use it again.
  • (2014-06-10, v:0.9) Qi Zheng: Need "disable&enable" to work
Sometimes, when I start Chrome, this extension does not work. I have to disable and re-enable it to make it work again
  • (2014-05-01, v:0.9) Will Hartzell-Baird: Underscores
One or more underscores are periodically appended to the "b" keyword for the search engine. I see that this problem has been reported before, but if it is helpful at all in following up with Google, I wanted to add that this same problem happens with LastPass.
  • (2013-11-19, v:0.9) Pete Koutoulas: Works only sporadically
For about the past month or so, quickmarks sometimes doesn't work. I am currently on Chrome Version 31.0.1650.57 m and it is not working today.
