• (2024-06-18) Jonathan Cox: This extension works really good, especially considering the fact that I brought it back to Brave, because it has a glitch with its own autoplay feature. Whenever I played a video, it plays 1-2 seconds of it before stopping. But that's nothing this extension can't fix! Don't take my word for it, it's still good!
• (2024-02-26) Yahrite Fohb: Got this to stop annoying gifs on reddit from autoplaying, it doesn't do anything it seems. It does work good on youtube. All my other autoplay scripts/extensions still don't prevent some stuff on youtube from playing for a second before pausing etc. Unfortunately, this extension prevents thumbnail mouseover preview which is quite annoying.

• (2023-10-21) Lynn: This list of problem is only for Youtube, since I only used to use it on Youtube. The next short video won't play after using "Don't recommend this channel" button. And you can't make exception for shorts content (since it only care about "youtube.com" and not what's following it: "youtube.com/shorts"). Prevent +18 video (on youtube) to play. Except that, great extension, but for now, i'm not using it, until these are fixed. Thank you.

I have been a very disappointed Peacock TV streaming service customer because of their forced AutoPlay feature with no toggle control to turn it off. Found a few articles suggesting this extension for Chrome but not Brave, however it does work on Brave, my preferred browser. HA HA SCREW YOU PEACOCK TV ! LOL

• (2023-09-12) Mario Bros: Worked fine previously. Since a period of time it doesn't allow video playing at all. For example on IMDB. When I click a video, i get only a black screen instead of the video playing. I have to disable the extension to be able to watch the video. This is in Chrome and in Edge the same.

• (2023-09-06) Web Architect: Works on Twitch & YouTube in Chrome v116. Doesn't break manual playback. Apparently, makes YouTube videos never "remember" last played timestamp. Extension options pop-up is broken, but it's not critical since one can go there through "Manage extensions" and there's nothing much to set-up.

• (2023-07-28) Jeff Carter: Really only needed it for YouTube. I would open content in a new tab and when I switch to it the video would autoplay. Only a nuisance when I inadvertently switch to the tab and it plays before I'm truly ready, or when it's quiet time (home at night or in the office with co-workers) and the audio disruptively blairs. Extension worked as expected when opening videos in new tabs, but in order to make work for existing opened tabs, I had to reload the pages. Had another window of YT vids queued up in multiple tabs, and rather than refreshing each page, as previously described, I closed the entire window, then re-opened closed window and I was pleased that all videos were paused when I switched to each tab. Works for my purposes! Why not 5-stars? There's always room for improvement, and I don't know what that is yet. Besides, I never fall in love with software. If I like it I keep using it. So, 4-stars from me is as good as 100%.

Je vous invite à ajouter https://meet.google.com dans les exceptions de l'extension pour éviter les problèmes avec Google Meet ! I wasn't sure this app would work for that, or if it was just made for ads. It works perfectly! Thank goodness! No more videos all starting at once — it's so embarrassing when that happens in a meeting and you can't find them to make it stop! Thank you!!!!!

• (2023-07-04) Rex Cope: For a really long time now, it works when you open the page with a video on it in a new tab or reload it, but if you just click normally on a link and enter a page in the same tab that way, the video plays normally.

I REALLY HATE the stupid autoplay videos on Yahoo and this extension seemed to work for a while, then it just started failing consistently. Tried updating and uninstall/reinstall to see what happened - then it worked again, but only for a day at most. Next day, same thing again. I am giving up on this app. Good try by the developer and thank you very much. Hope you will do better next time.

Не удаляет бокс, а именно останавливает автопроигрывание. Для мобильных девайсов с ограниченным траффиком - просто находка. Дома по шнурку неважно сколько сожрет реклама, лишь раздражают эти вечно двигающиеся непонятные совсем никому не нужные рекламные рожи. Я тиктоком и соцсетями не пользуюсь, говорю за просто вебсайты где автоплеит реклама или просто видосы. На них точно работает.
• (2023-04-20) Doug Spicer: Does everything I need it to do. I have never had a video autoplay since installing it, particularly youtube videos. Easy to turn off or on. I much prefer to read the story, rather than view a video with it's built in distraction and the annoyance of others near by.
• (2023-04-06) Jeff Hamer: This extension stops ad autoplay on WireddotCom. I can not stand the ad videos autoplaying while trying to read an article. I understand they need the ad revenue, but I cant enjoy a site if when ads are so distracting. However, this extension made it so I can enjoy a few sites again.
