Convert and Save SVG images to .png from your browser,
with your browser, and in your browser. No server side processing required!
Conversion from SVG to .png is processed with client side JavaScript.
SVG 2 PNG handles:
- .svg opened as the URL location
- Links to .svg files
- .svg loaded in img tags
- Embedded <svg> tags on pages
Instructions:
Install extension from Chrome Extensions store.
Right-click on anything SVG 2 PNG handles and select "Save SVG as .png" from the menu.
Try an open .svg file, a link to an .svg file, a .svg img tag, or an embedded svg tag on a page.
The file should download as a file named "download.png".
Congratulations, you have successfully converted and saved from SVG to .png
Pro tip:
You can open an .svg file on your computer in your browser and use this extension on it to convert it to .png

Говно какое-то ! После кли ка из контекстного меню не наблюдаю никакого прогресса сохранения... Удаляю эту хрень как абсолютно нефункциональную !!!

Doesnt work for me, doesn't recognize the svg openend in the browser.

Only works for SVG loaded from a server, not for SVG generated dynamically by javascript, which would be my usecase.
Thought it would save and embedded svg as png... :/
It works. Right-click the SVG, select "SVG 2 PNG" and then save the image as a .png - done! I only wish it let you select the png resolution.
It brings up the Save as .png item in the context menu, but selecting it does nothing....
