• (2020-04-11) Louise Lindgreen: Total scam! I signed up for Proxmate years ago and it worked really well but then one day it just stopped working. I have tried contacting support many time but they never answer. Horrible customer service! They keep taking money out of my bank account and I cannot get them to stop. So now my only option is getting a new bank card to get them to stop stealing from me! Awful service!
• (2020-01-16) SC Lim: Worked fine in the beginning some years ago. As of today (in the year 2020), it doesn't work on CTV and CBS. It also only sometimes work on Comedy Central. Had I been paying the current subscription price, I would be mad. It works a treat on NBC, but I haven't really used it on the other American channels. I've kind of lost track of the number of times I've had to uninstall and reinstall the extension, and even to get the reactivation code right now is taking forever.
• (2020-01-14) Reanne: I mainly used firefox version but that broke in december for me. Used to work wonders back throughout 2014 till 2019 for me, up untill earlier this month but as i tried to resub i got server error. Was good while it lasted, i'm just going to have to accept there's certain series on some services i wont be able to see till i can get my hands on a dvd/bluray of it.

• (2019-12-01) Oscar Copado: I subscribed for a "lifetime" promotion, and apparently that did not happend, neither the receipt nor nowhere i was able to find that my subscription was a 2-year long one, and that I would be charged at the end of it ( no notification at all ) . I tried to clarify this with the "CS team", the answer to my multiple emails was just IGNORING ME.

• (2019-03-07) Emily-Rose Hagger: I've been using proxmate for Hulu since I'm from the UK and wanted to watch Raw and Smackdown instead of waiting 30 days for the WWE Network to upload them (which at that point there is no point of watching since the PPVs catch you up to speed with what has happened) but Hulu just gives you the "nah, screw you" if you try to join from outside the U.S.. Unfortunately, you probably won't find a free website unblocker service to work with Hulu (I tried around 10 different VPNs and website unblockers, no luck). Thankfully I found Proxmate which offers a free trial and is very affordable (about a fiver every 3 months. You'll be paying at least £10 on other VPNs that unblock Hulu!). I see a lot of negative reviews relating to Netflix so I can't comment on that since I'm happy enough with Netflix UK but if you want to access Hulu outside of the US then this works like a charm and I will highly recommend proxmate. There is a list on their website of other streaming services they unblock but yet again I can't comment on those since I only use proxmate for Hulu and I'm content with UK versions of Netflix and Amazon Prime. No need to be good with technology either. Just download the service and sign up. It's as simple as that! EDIT: You can also request for another "channel" that you'd like for them to unblock too if there is a specific streaming service that they haven't unblocked that you want to use. EDIT 2: I'm unsure whether this is proxmate or if I accidentally downloaded an ad block or something but I am signed up to the cheapest Hulu subscription that's on offer and I haven't seen any ads pop up on any of the content I've watched so far. But if it's proxmate then no need to worry about ads playing randomly on your Hulu videos :)

• (2018-12-03) Emily Tynes: This is a fraud. The service doesn't work, so I uninstalled it from my browser. They have been charging me for 4 years without any notification that a charge was coming up. When asked to cancel and refund the latest charge, they customer service agent refused, and then sent me a nasty email.

• (2017-07-24) Gary Schiltz: Many of the negative reviews focus on it not working on Netflix. That is true, and even though they don't go out or their way to announce that on their home page, they don't include Netflix on their list of channels either. I like the service, since I had stopped subscribing to Netflix, and it still (fingers crossed) keeps working for Amazon Prime. For that, it has been flawless and comes at a very good price ($18 for two years right now).
