Description from store What's new in 2.1.6: * Updated all links to HTTPS Existing features: − Click the extension icon to show a search popup − Resolve multiple references at once by separating them with a semicolumn ";" − Search directly from the address bar: type "ref" followed by a space and your reference − Resolve selected text as a reference using the right-click menu The Chemistry Reference Resolver (http://chemsearch.kovsky.net/) accepts a scientific citation in a number of common formats (e.g. ACS, NPG) and redirects user to the paper automatically. For example, you can type "Acc. Chem. Res. 2000, 33, 346" or "joc, 2010, 4657" — and get to the paper in seconds. Also, you can search for US patents by number ("uspat 5856532") or perform reagent search on Sigma-Aldrich website ("sa sodium chloride"). This extension provides a quick access to the Reference Resolver.

However, today it has started looking at my browsing history - a change that isn't noted in the version description. Please explain why this is and added it to the change log, then I'll add it back to Chrome. Removing for now.

  • (2012-05-03) Steven Ryckbosch: Fantastic. Super duper useful. One tiny suggestion is to automatically put the cursor into the box once I click for the extension, rather than clicking the extension button, then clicking in the box to start my cursor. Nitpicky, but would be helpful!

  • (2014-08-13, v:1.21) Luis Sanchez: text box not selected
I currently use Chrome Version 37.0.2062.68 beta on a Mac (Mountain Lion). When I push the button, the logo appears selected instead of the text box. So every time it is necessary to click on the text box to start typing. When I use Chrome on Windows, the text box is selected. I have observed this problem for many months and with different versions of Chrome for Mac.
