A WorkFlowy panel on your desktop

Image from store WorkFlowy Panel
Description from store A Chrome Panel for Workflowy that is persistent on your desktop when you need it. Can be minimised and pop back up easily. This is unofficial, just something I made for myself, thought I would share this with the world. This requires you to enable Panels within Chrome. To do this, go here, chrome://flags/#enable-panels, click enable panels. Restart chrome.

  • (2017-01-13) Superdan: Wow, this is exactly what I need. I like the Workflowy Chrome App, but I have too many Tampermonkey hacks and Stylish adjustments that I don't want to go without. This extension does it... and multiple windows. Also right click + open in new tab or copy URL work. So... great, thanks!!! I would love if it remembered the last size, and maybe the last URL? Anyway, thanks for doing this. Now let's see how Chrome pushes forward with Panels... maybe there will be new functionality coming from their side.
  • (2016-11-04) Steven Powers: I think the extension is perfect except it does not work as intended anymore. Chrome Version 54.0.2840.87 (64-bit) has made the panel flag disappear so it cannot be enabled. Any word on the panels coming back to chrome?
  • (2016-05-26) Jon Vongoh: This is really great for a Workflowy junkie like me. I can keep the panel open while I work and flip to it to work my lists. The only issue I am having with this is that - when I click in the search box at the top of the panel and type - the text is coming out invisible. I have select in the window to highlight it in order to see it. I enabled panels in Chrome hoping that would fix it, it hasnt. Anybody else getting this issue?
  • (2016-03-11) Ryan R.: Very nice, simple extension. Only a few things keep it from five stars: The popup bullet menu gets partially cut off on the left, which is annoying but not a deal killer. It would be incredibly nice if it had a maximize button to open the full Workflowy window. Finally, I know it actually mentions in the overview that panels need to be turned on in the flags/experiments page for this to work, but some of us (*ahem*) may not exactly have bothered to read the entire overview before installing... A little reminder somewhere, or maybe a popup on install that opens the flags page to the correct spot would be useful. Thanks! Great extension.
  • (2015-12-30) P Villerius: Great. Just what I was looking for!
  • (2015-12-21) Derek Luce: Nice! I like it for keeping my "inbox" in the foreground. Caveat: knowing the keyboard shortcuts helps due to limited window size; can't see bullet mouse-over menu. Not an issue for me personally.
  • (2015-11-17) Thomas Davies: Thanks Whiteside! This is exactly what I have been looking for - An easy and non-disruptive way to add to my Workflowy whilst maintaining high levels of productivity. Thanks Again!
  • (2015-10-22) Wilhelm Medetz: Looks good and displays Workflowy nice in a separate window. The only problem is, that it is difficult to move/resize the window (tends to stay in the lower right corner of the screen). Also would be nice if it would remember its last position on the screen.
