The ideal solution would be to add a threshold to horizontal scrolling so that you need a significant gesture to trigger it, but that really ought to be up to Google's UI people to do it.

Also, I don't get why it needs read/write permissions on the calendar, read-only should be sufficient. Unfortunately I will have to uninstall it. I'm just getting used not to scroll with the trackpad and use the keyboard shortcuts instead (P for previous period and N for next). Thanks anyway!

  Hi Guys, a small fix to maybe help. I find that when I have the calendar on screen, if you select 'Week' view & then say return to 'Month' view it stabiles. The problem seems to be when you hit the forward a month or back a month, it then stops working again. A bit fiddly but it helps with some of the frustration!! Cannot understand why such a large corporation as Google can't fix this & build it into their calendar - ughhhhh!!!!
