- (2022-01-01) iisi ΓΈ: Unlike many scrollbar customising extensions, this lets you set the actual CSS yourself. Much more flexible than clicking a few colour options! The place to put CSS in this extension's Options page is a bit small; it's resizable but doesn't remember your chosen size. I wish the Options would support find-and-replace, so there's no need to open another program to do a find-replace.
- (2021-04-21) Karl Masterr: very nice. edit in options for extension. do 1 change at a time and reload page. reload test webpage too. change scrollbar width to wide (16) and colors. ::-webkit-scrollbar { width: 16px; } ::-webkit-scrollbar:horizontal { height:6px; } ::-webkit-scrollbar-track { background-color: #aaaaaa; } ::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb { background-color: #666666; } ::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb:hover { background-color: #333333; }

The default scrollbar .css it gives is quite simple, but if you know .css or look up some WebKit .css tutorials, you can modify and add more .css to your hearts content. Every bit of this extension works well and is still lightweight and not intrusive. Very powerful tool.
- (2019-07-25) Rob Butterworth: I'm attempting to use this on my Chromebook, but unlike other users whose review seem overwhelmingly satisfied with the ease of use of this extension, I'm having a lot of difficulties 1) getting the extension to accept my updated color codes, and 2) when I close and reopen Chrome, all of my changes disappear. The only way I can get the extension to work (when re-opening Chrome) is to relaunch the extension. However, even when I relaunch the extension, enter my new color choices, none of my choices are visibilly correct (all my colors are incorrect). I know I am using the proper codes, and I am double checking all my formatting, yet nothing I enter works! I thought that this extension might be beneficial, helping with the visibility of my scroll bars, however, after attempting to actually insert my new settings, then having to continually load this extension (and nothing is as I setup). I've decided that the extension is a mindless waste of my time. I have so many more, important things I need to work on in Real Life! If the developer can actually fix these issues and make this extension 'easy to use', then perhaps it might be helpful to others. I just don't see other users spending an inordinate amount of time attempting to use this extension. Sorry, but this extension does not meet my 'delight your customers', 'will keep, use and recommend this extension to others', ButterBall, rating system. Best of luck, but my suggestions is simple... if you want to try this extension, go for it, but if it does not work properly on the first time, MOVE ON.
- (2019-02-22) Azarilh: The best so far. Fully customisable with CSS. But i'm trying to do something, can someone help me? I'd like the scroll bar to be bigger on hover. Danke.
