  • (2014-09-04, v:0.2) Amanda: Can't get it to save my API key?
I installed the extension, pasted my API key into the options page, turned on the notifications, then pressed save and... nothing. Changing the notifications setting seems to save but each time the API blanks itself and the icon has an ! mark in it. Suggestions?
  • (2014-02-13, v:0.2) Dave Terhune: No Longer Works
Now that WaniKani has forced SSL across the entire site, this extension no longer works. It needs to be updated to use SSL.
  • (2014-01-30, v:0.2) Matthew Miller: HTTPS Support
Will you be including HTTPS support in an update? The following notice has been on WK for the last week: "If you are an extension or script author, please update your scripts to accommodate for the https protocol. In two weeks from now we'll be forcing SSL throughout the entire website. If you are a user of said extensions, bug the authors to update!" I dug into Notifier's extension files and I think updating it for HTTPS would be as simple as updating background.js and options.js to support HTTPS. It should be as simple as replacing 'http:' with 'https:'. The extension retained its functionality without any errors that I've noticed. Would you consider updating the plugin? Thanks for your hard work on this awesome extension! -Matthew
