Pin Tab

Simple and powerful tab pinner with logic to pin all my heavily used work tabs (calendar, WApp web, email, etc) automagically when working. Unfortunately got nuked by Google Chrome updates. Hoping developer will upgrade this? Thank you for making a great tool for us.

Please update with Google! This is the best extension and I am afraid Google will remove access.

I love it on chrome, but it doesn't work on Arc Browser... If you could fix that, it'd be amazing!

I deduct two star, because of a very annoying issue. I like having tabs in a certain order, but when I use this extension it works but it also brings the tab to the front. Unfortunately because of this I will have to find another solution.

Great tool. Works as advertised. For those of you having tab "issues" like I thought I was nite that the position is relative to the current open tabs not to the setting in the extension's options. I would like pinned tabs to open relative to each other as declared in the options not relative to whatever is open currently. If the extention did that then site 1 would always be left of 2 which would always be left of 3...etc but this is not how this extension was designed. It's still great.

Pins and unpins tabs by a quick-click of the blue PIN icon on the extensions toolbar. There are also a bunch of advanced option settings you can adjust (for example: you can pick the positioning of a tab once it's been unpinned), among others . . .

This is an excellent little extension that I would gladly give 5 stars were it not for a couple of frustrating and inhibiting bugs. Firstly, the tab index feature does not work for me. It used to work although stopped functioning several weeks ago, I presume due to a bad update. Secondly, it does not always remember tab rules and seems sometimes to forget all the rules I have added. As a side-note, it would be great to see a future feature whereby settings for this extension are synced across different devices running Google Chrome through your Google account. I am not sure if this is possible however so it is nothing more than an idea. If these bugs are ironed out, this will be a genuinely useful extension and one that I will undoubtedly continue to use.

On my PC, using Chrome the pinned tabs stay pinned, even after a crash or browser shutdown. Using Chrome on my Pixelbook they only stay pinned until I close the browser. When I reopen it, they're gone. Fix this and it's 5 stars for sure.

Would be 5 stars if rules where persistent. They seem to disappear after some period of time or maybe after logging out and in again.

Needs some sort of export tool, preferably to Chrome Sync. Other than that it does what you'd expect from it.

Chrome seemed to have removed the "Open as pinned tab" option for apps, but I love that this extension gives us that functionality back!

SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE, WORKING! The interface is simple, you just add the url that you want to keep pinned all the time and their position. This is such a time-saver extension!
