Dislike to mark it red. Authors: Like an author to make all stories as green. Dislike to mark all stories as red. Options: Why have story and authors you dislike clutter your page? • (2023-07-30) Spam Spam: It's okay once you figure out how to use it, but it took too long to realize it only works on a "search" and not when you have an actual story already open or from your bookmarks page or anything like, which is...weird.
  • (2021-07-06) Grayson gdl: Only used it for a few days, but it works just fine! One small issue I have with it is that sometimes the options don't appear. For example, if I'm on a writer's profile, there's no options to like or dislike any of their stories. This wouldn't be too much of an issue if there were like/dislike buttons ON the story page itself, but because there aren't, then if I want to rate a story, I have to keep the search page I found it on open. Plus on AO3, it seems like some search pages show options for the first few results, but only the first few. Meaning if you find a story from a writer's profile or a search page on AO3, you might not be able to rate it at all, even if you went back to the page you found it on. I suppose it doesn't matter too much, the format the extension stores its ratings in doesn't seem too complicated, so I could just copy, edit it, and import it again if it really mattered, but it would still be nice for this kind of thing to be fixed. Also, it's really awkward to have to find the button to manage the site data IN the filters menu on FF, and I don't even know where to look for the equivalent button on AO3 yet! It would be much more convenient if we could access this stuff by just clicking the extension icon, but that's not too big of a deal, I suppose. All in all, a great way to make sure you don't read the same story twice, whether you liked it or hated it.
  • (2021-02-01) red mortly: idk if it's just me but for some reason all of my saved data (likes/dislikes) disappear after so many fics are rated? (on ao3 at least...) i read a high volume of fics and tend to bounce from fandom to fandom but i noticed when going back on a fandom i hadn't read since mid august that all my ratings were gone and there were no green OR red marked fics at all. really kinda a bummer. but i do really enjoy the functionality of it so idk. is there like a limit to how many fanfics it saves? could you increase that limit?
  • (2021-01-18) Rachel Williams: The options part is greyed out so I cannot use it...has that even be added yet or is it just not working??
  • (2019-04-02) I don't know why but its not working for me anymore?
  • (2018-01-21) Sara Tasnim: It's suddenly stopped working! What's happened!?
  • (2018-01-05) himetsuki flogeratsa: I LIKE IT
  • (2017-07-05) Lavonne “Diaval Kersh” Williams: I really love how I can now keep up with the stories I like and already have read to those that definitely need to be hidden. I also use it on my AO3 account... but I use a dark background and the green is just a little to bright to read the summary if I have selected the author as my favorite. Really really love this extension ^_^
  • (2017-04-26) Tamara Lamela: I really love this extension. The only downside? That there isn't any way to backup the data.
  • (2016-11-07) Hannah Aaliyah: ITS GREAT MAN
  • (2016-07-03) Grimoire: A very good Chrome extension. Me being on FF.net a ton, it helps to sort out the bad stories and horrible authors that refuse to put up warnings in their stories. Nothing worse than to read a 200k+ story just for something seedy to happen at the end!
  • (2016-06-19) Joana Vale: Only works on fanfiction.com
  • (2015-11-10) Donna Rose Busa: It's functional. Could use some improvement. Bookmarks, agreed. I initially got this because I was looking for something like sticky notes. Where I could put it beside the story and note why I didn't like it.
  • (2015-10-10) Paolina Shoop: so convient
  • (2015-10-08) Andy Scull: I'd say it's an 'OK' plugin. It could be improved with some functions but current basic functionality is enough to not get lost in thousands of BL fanfics (which can't be sorted out by fanfiction search filters). You don't need to remember which ones to avoid, just mark them once
  • (2015-08-17) natalie: Doesn't work on AO3.
  • (2014-09-16) Isadora Coimbra: Amazing! Super creative and helpful!!!! Worth it!
  • (2014-08-22) Agustina Chaer: Hi! I love this extension! It allows me to color code the fanfics so I can instantly know which i like reading and which i don't. There is one thing that would relly help us users, and that is an editable blank next to the Like/dislike thing so we can put there the number of the chapter where we left. I know that it's not ideal and the best way would be that it automatically remembers where you left but for now I think that it is a quick solution that would make our fiction readding a lot easier. Hope you read this review cause I really want this feature to be added asap cause I 'm going crazy trying to keep track on wher I left on eack of the fics. Thanks a lot, again love the extension, congrats on your work. Bye.
  • (2014-08-19) Green ie (Green): I've liked it since I've been using it, but recently it stopped working with AO3.
  • (2014-08-14) It was great until the AO3 side of the app stopped working.
  • (2014-08-14) Jan Flores: Really love this extension and has been working perfectly well. but all of a sudden it doesn't work on AO3 anymore
  • (2014-07-29) Kelly Paradise: THANK YOU!!! I have been looking for exactly this so I could hide fics I've already read!
  • (2014-05-17) Jason Kay: Simple and easy to use and quickly shows you what stories you've been reading at a glance and shows you the bad stories so you can skip over them or remove them completely from the list. the only downside is that this doesn't work on the authors page when looking at their stories.
  • (2013-12-26) Shannon Regan: This was a very helpful extension. Though, I do wish it stored data (ex.bookmarks) so I wouldn't have to backup the data manually.
  • (2013-12-02) Michael Durant: Very useful. Only wished that it stored the data like the bookmarks so that it is available to all my computers without doing a manual backup.
  • (2013-11-24) Monica F.: This is so helpful!
  • (2013-11-06) Flavia Garcia: Really useful extension, very practic!!!
  • (2013-10-24) Preston Cook: This extension adds something I've been wanting for years. It's so annoying to scroll through the same page over and over again trying to find new stories to read. I've been reading the same crappy summaries for the same stories that I'll never read for years but not any more. I do wish there was a Neutral button that would shade in yellow for stories that I might consider reading once I've thoroughly exhausted the other stories in my queue.
  • (2013-10-09) Dan Crocket: Really useful extension, would be useful if you could bookmark chapters and then go back to them without having to use chrome-bookmarks. Also is it possible you could set up a 'similar stories' option, although i can understand if you dont as it would take a lot of work, maybe make it so users say which ones are similar?

  • (2020-08-03, v:0.312) Imani Sundiata: Styles and their effect on the extension
I have a specific style on my AO3 acct that I like to use, and I'm not really sure if it because of that that the extension doesn't load well. I took the style off (reverted back to default settings) and part of the page didn't have the extension on it. I could see the "like, dislike, clear" button on some of the stories but not all of them. Specifically, the ones at the bottom of the page didn't have any buttons.
  • (2020-07-12, v:0.312) David Kats: Not working
I just installed it - and nothing is working. No errors, no Like/Dislike/Clear buttons, no colors, no option at the bottom of the page to hide dislikes - nothing.
  • (2020-05-23, v:0.312) Jillian D: Extension vanished
I love this extension and use it daily. But a few days ago it just stopped showing up. No Like/Dislike/Clear buttons, no colors, no option at the bottom of the page to hide dislikes. It just vanished. It's still in my extensions and says it's active and working fine and all permissions are in place, and no settings have been changed. I've looked on the extension details page and everything says it's active and has permission and is on, but the extension no longer shows up or seems to register. It's like it is no longer active. I really truly do love this extension and hope that this is a temporary issue and it will be back to working soon.

Does the preferences get saved and be visible if I change computers?
  • (2018-04-10, v:0.312) Lia Dylan: Save Likes/Dislikes in Incognito Browser
i really love the concept of this extension! it's a great idea and it works well. it would be really useful if you could somehow save your likes/dislikes so that they don't automatically reset/disappear every time you close down your web browser. this might just be an issue when in incognito (I always search/read/open fanfics in incognito browsing), as any time I accidentally ex out of all my incognito tabs and close the browser, the next time I open it up, all of my likes/dislikes have disappeared. however, while I am in incognito, if i don't close out of the browser completely, it allows me to save all of my likes/dislikes for as long as I keep the browser up and in as many tabs as i want. it would be really great if there could be a way to permanently save likes/dislikes while using incognito.
  • (2018-03-14, v:0.312) Christopher Mintmier: Doesn't work with Stylish themes
Extension doesn't work with Stylish themes enabled. I'm using the "Purple/Black/Gray & Ad Removal" userstyle, and the organizer extension does nothing on FFnet.
  • (2017-04-20, v:0.312) Lori Scott: Anonymous Works
I use this on AO3 and it has been very useful, but I have noticed a problem. It won't allow me to mark works that are posted by Anonymous. I understand why you can't like the author, obviously, but you should still be able to mark the story as like or dislike. Is there a way to fix this?
  • (2016-12-05, v:0.312) Mrs Hippyfreak (Sandy): More Options Than Like/Dislike
First, let me say that I love this extension! I LOVE that I no longer have to sort through as many crappy fics after reading the first paragraph and wanting to send the author back to freaking Grammar School! Not to mention the types I just won't touch when summaries include: 'Female!Harry Potter' or 'Bella Swan is Harry Potter's long lost twin sister!' AND being able block an author altogether! Not even Twisting the Hellmouth let's us do that. Not to mention their pain in the ass method to hide one fic at a time. Hey!! Maybe you could include that archive in this lovely service! Midnight Whispers would be another site that would greatly benefit! Um... Perhaps I should get to what this message was actually intended for. Now my suggestion: Will you think about adding more than the 'Like' or 'Dislike' options? Leave Dislike alone (since all you really have are variations of 'Hate' and that's a bit harsh and unnecessary). But on the other side I've been wishing for buttons like: 'Love' (meaning I'll be reading again soon), 'Like' (already there but would mean I'd read it again one of these day) and 'So-So' (for me this would mean that it was okay but not necessarily something to write home about). Understandably, it would need more color coding. May I humbly request using slightly darker colors? Because of eye sight issues I picked a black skin on AO3 which means the white font is completely washed out so that using 'Like' on that site makes it impossible to read. Thanks for what you've already done!!

More of this not working in Chrome. It doesn't even register that I'm looking at the site, apparently.

  • (2016-03-21, v:0.312) May Webster: Not working AO3
Sometimes I see it working on the first item that is on my search, or it doesn't show up at all. How can I get it to work properly on AO3? Please help so that I can use it like I do on ff.net
  • (2016-03-17, v:0.312) Corinne Ash: why doesn't this work in Chrome?
I have this as an app on my phone and tablet and it works wonderfully. Why doesn't it work here?
