內容農場充斥，用戶越來越難分辨真假。OpenFact 就嘗試封鎖大部份已知內容農場。現時 OpenFact 封鎖了 164 個內容農場，當中包括中、港、台常見 Content Farm。
OpenFact 建基於 New York Magazine 作者 Brian Feldman 的 Chrome Extension "Fake News Alert" （網址：https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fake-news-alert/aickfmgnhocegpdbfnpfnedpeionfkbh）及其源碼（網址：https://github.com/bfeldman/fake-site-alert）
OpenFact 亦公開了 Sourcecode ： https://github.com/openfactspace/openfact_chrome。可以隨使更改及發佈。
