A Chrome Extension to automatically tag scripture references using Logos Bible Software's RefTagger tool.

Image from store Logos Bible Reference Tagger
Description from store Logos Bible Reference Tagger scans every webpage you visit for scripture references such as John 3:16. When it finds such a reference it can create a link to the verse at biblia.com. This extension will also create a hover-text showing the text of the verse simply by hovering your mouse cursor over the verse reference. See the extension's option page to select your preferred bible version among other options. *This is an unofficial extension and is not supported by Logos Bible Software*

  • (2018-04-15) I have both Biblia and Logos software on my computer, and this extension works effortlessly, and correctly. Easy peasy.

  • (2014-10-21) Matt Robertson: Doesn't work.
  • (2014-09-19) Thom Willis: Useful extension somewhat, but it stopped parts of various pages, like Twitter, from functioning correctly. Weird.
  • (2014-07-17) Daniel L: This does work. A few of the options don't save automatically, but if you go back in and re-set the options and save and close and do it again, eventually it works!
  • (2014-04-13) Gregg DesElms: Doesn't work, at all; doesn't do one single thing it's supposed to do, no matter the web page. And I'm a 57-year-old IT pro, who knows what he's doing; so, trust me when I say that it's the extension that's not working. I give it one star only because I can't give it less. __________________________________ Gregg L. DesElms Napa, California USA gregg at greggdeselms dot com Veritas nihil veretur nisi abscondi. • (2014-03-10) Thomas Mathew: It's definitely not working .. tried it on pages with scripture - no use.
  • (2013-10-23) • Martin •: Did what it claimed to fine, but unfortunately also caused elements in web pages to not load / load erroneously :(
  • (2013-07-22) Daniel Hartzheim: Doesn't seem to be doing anything.

  • (2014-04-13, v:1.2) Gregg DesElms: No, it seriously doesn't work
Poster @TJ Winters wrote, on 29 Jan 2013 (almost a year and a half ago, at this writing) that the extension doesn't work... ...and the developer responde some nearly two months later that it was, in effect, operator error; that the first time the plugin is used, one must go to the "Options" page and make some settings and the close the "Options" tab and refresh the page (on which the extension had not been working). I did all that... even before coming here and reading what the dev took two months to tell Mr. Winters. And it still doesn't work. I'm an IT pro for pushing 40 years, so, trust me, I know what I'm doing. I even disabled, then re-enabled the extension; set and reset the options; closed not just the options page but the whole browser and then re-launched it; cleared the cache and cookies... ...yadda, yadda, yadda. It still won't work. And judging by how many people, in the reviews, have given the extension one (1) star, and are also saying it does essentially nothing, I'd say the likelihood that Mr. Winters was correct in the first place was pretty high. That the dev took two months to even respond to Mr. Winters, and that even almost a year-and-a-half later there are still people saying it doesn't work -- including me -- I'm guessing the dev no longer cares (actually, that was fairly obvious by his having taken two months to respond to Mr. Winters over a year ago)... ...and so I would advise anyone considering this extension to not waste his/her time. I'd suggest that the dev come here, in response to this, and explain himself... ...but I don't have two months to wait. This dev should do the responsible thing and remove this extension from the Chrome Web Store... ...either that, or, heaven forbid, bother to fix it. __________________________________ Gregg L.
