9anime Companion adds these cool new features:

If you choose to use the MyAnimeList Integration, your MyAnimeList login information WILL BE stored LOCALLY on your computer using chrome.storage.local. Your data WILL NOT BE TRANSMITTED anywhere else.

Seems to be a great companion app, includes the keyboard shortcuts I got used to from KissAnime. Would it be possible to add configurable shortcuts though such as changing how much the arrows seek by or rebinding some of the shortcuts?

Original Comment : April 8, 2018 For some reason when I used Adblock Plus, I couldn't use the textbox in 9anime (like I couldn't search anime or even login). I have spent all day today looking for a solution then this extension was mentioned on Reddit. OMG it works great! The ads are gone, and I can type in the textbox! However, this extension does not stop pop-up windows. To fix this, get "Poper Blocker" and viola!! To the creator of this godly extension, bless your soul!!!!! Update Comment : April 25, 2018 9anime updated their website today and they implemented a new anti-adblock system. This extension no longer works for adblocking so I have no use for it anymore. I already found a way to bypass the 9anime anti-adblock system. However, This extension was great and I will still give it 5 stars.

If it blocks ads the videos don't load anymore due to an adblocker, which is the only reason I got the extension, because there's just way to many ads.

Awesome extension. The only thing I found troubling about it is that when you click "Watch on 9anime" on MyAnimeList, the website goes to this https://myanimelist.net/watch/one-piece.ov8 (for One Piece). How do I solve this issue? What I do is I just edit myanimelist.net to 9anime.to and it works. Is this a problem for anyone else?

Now that 9anime has updated it's whole site an ui none of the features appear on the watch page and I can't use them. It worked perfectly before this. edit: it's fixed now!

So far so good, If everything stays working for a week, i will update this to 5 stars
