Image from store URLs Manager - Websites Blocker and Labeller
Description from store Improve productivity by easily blocking or tagging any interesting, distracting or harmful websites. How many times you came back on an useless page and wasted time on it? Or went back on a page and read information that you had already read before and didn't want read again? With this extension you can set different labels on all the pages you want, and even block them! It is like an advanced bookmark/block websites manager. You can set labels on each page and domain, as : - USELESS (light red flag + top label on the page) - USEFUL (green flag) - IMPORTANT (blue flag) Or simply block the page! You can block a domain and unblock some specific pages of the same domain. You also can set a note (short message) on each page, by example why you tagged this page or why you blocked it. The extension also tells you how many times you visited the current page. I made this extension when I was making a lot of researches on many websites and I was not sure if I already interacted with some pages (example: call the number, send a message, read the info...). So I thought it would be nice if I could set a note/reminder on the pages, hence the creation of this extension. With URLs Manager, you'll not waste time anymore! • (2021-11-26) Fenies Ferbs: So far so good :D was testing a few other (much more used) block site extensions before but none of them could offer me the simple option of just blocking one URL but not the whole domain. Thankfully this little extension here can do this nice trick for me :) So I'm finally satisfied and will continue to use it
  • (2020-10-23) Daniel Hertrich: Extremely useful for large Internet research tasks! 😇 Message to JBD (regarding version 1.0): I'd wish that the "useful" and "important" tags would also trigger a banner on top of the page, as the "useless" tag does, so it's obvious at first glance that the page has been visited before. Currently. it's only visible by the small colored square on the icon of the extension, which is hard to see. Maybe that banner should then vanish automatically after two seconds. Just to have a signal that this page was already visited. Make that a user-selectable option and it's perfect :) (But even without that feature, the extension is great!). Also, it would be great to have an option that adds the "/*" wildcard (for sub-URL recognition) automatically if a page is tagged. Or at least provide an edit option for the existing list fo URLs so that the "/*" can easily be added manually.
