CrypTag Clip enables you to save bookmarks and excerpts ("clips") from web pages you visit, and to encrypt and store them wherever you'd like -- a local folder, Dropbox, Sandstorm, or even on your own server!
It is recommended that you have CrypTag Notes, a secure note-taking app, running on your computer in order to get maximum value out of Clip. You can get CrypTag Notes from https://www.patreon.com/cryptag/posts?tag=notes
To record a web page excerpt, highlight the text you want to save, then click the CrypTag Clip icon.

- (2017-04-26) Steve Phillips: I can now securely save website excerpts as markdown to a local folder, and can sync these notes via Dropbox to other computers from there. Sweet! That's what I wanted, which is why I created this extension :-).
