Description from store
Identification of differentially expressed genes is an important step in extracting knowledge from gene expression profiling studies. The raw expression data from microarray and other high-throughput technologies is deposited into the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) and served as Simple Omnibus Format in Text (SOFT) files. However, extracting and analyzing differentially expressed genes from GEO requires significant computational skills.
GEO2Enrichr is a browser extension that can be used to extract differentially expressed gene sets from GEO, and analyzing those sets with Enrichr through a user interface. GEO2Enrichr adds functionality to GEO web-pages where with one click, users can submit two groups of samples to our web-server. The server downloads the SOFT files, parses, cleans, and normalizes the data, identifies the differentially expressed genes, and then pipes the resulting gene lists to Enrichr for downstream functional analysis. GEO2Enrichr can help researchers to quickly explore hypotheses with no technical overhead, lowering the barrier of entry for biologists by automating data processing steps needed for knowledge extraction from the major repository GEO.

Hi, I have installed the Chrome Extension as described on the website. However I do not manage to use it on any website. I tried on GEO and there a new option to extract knowledge with GEO2Enrichr appears, but the open results tap just leads me to a new tab with the Error message `Page Not Found Oops. It looks like there is nothing here.´ Also when I tried it on GEN3VA it still doesn't recognize the Extension. Are you using the Chrome web browser? ✓ Is GEO2Enrichr installed? ✘ Please install GEO2Enrichr. I also saw that it only has access to the two webstites: https://amp.pharm.mssm.edu/* and https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/* and I have no option to change this settings. What could I do that it works? Hi I installed google chrome, I found GEO2EnrichR. Now it says (added) so I assume its installed. However I dont know how to use for my genes. everytime I type them I got the message :Unknown error. Please contact the Ma'ayan Lab. am using this website https://maayanlab.cloud/g2e/ if its wrong please let me know which one to use thanks
