Social Media, which gets more and more coverage these days... all while tech giants defer and deflect, continuing to: - use addictive design - profit from ads disguised as news, and - confine us in echo chambers. • (2017-11-17) Andy Hanson: I have a ball sharing things with friends online with awkwardly copy and pasting URLs! So enjoyable to see where on the web people chat. And the app has zero pushiness which is my favorite part!
  • (2017-11-17) Really enjoyed the ability to chat on the page I was currently viewing without going through whatever chat system the site may or may not have. Provides an ability to reach out and interact with a site or a community where one may not have previously existed. Also has a good, sleek design for the extension that doesnt interfere with browsing.

  • (2015-08-20, v:2015.8.19) Sharon LaMunion: Date/Time stamp?
I realize the Forum is real time but yet I can look back on older/previous conversation streams and not know when they were made? Such as when I saw the red on FB this evening and the conversation seemed live but the part with Andy was older like a few days ago? So is the message stream maintained from conception? If so, maybe some sort of date/time stamp can be popped up to see when any comment might have been made??? If I am confused about this...just ignore me. Thanks.
