• (2024-07-03) Randall LeBlanc: The web clipper feature is very erratic which makes it hard to rely on. Evernote has a much better clipper that seems to work every time. This is unfortunate because I'm really trying to transition from Evernote to Keep, but with the malfunctioning web clipper I have to rethink this. 7/4/2024 Update - Still erratic and unreliable. I might contine to use Keep for certain things because it's free, but the web clipper is pretty much useless. I had hope to replace Evernote with Keep, but that's not going to happen. Typical Google approach, a good concept that's just left to hang out there and die due to lack of attention. When will I learn?

(3) Now go to any website, you will find grey colour KEEP icon, just right click on it and choose "Go to KEEP" (4) Now icon will appears in Yelllow colour. (5) Copy any word or sentence and right click and "Save selection to KEEP" → iteams saved in KEEP.

Now, my wife and I can look at it on our phones and on my laptop and, without changing a thing, the lists/sub-list all change before our eyes, and we each have a different view at times. I setup a shared grocery list with a hundred or so items, broken down by category and with recipes and it is now all scrambled up. It took me several years to build this one list, now I have to start all over from scratch. Because, I have to do it all over again, I'm to look at some alternatives first.

• (2023-09-14) Mark Menger: When I first started using the Keep Chrome extension, it would indicate whether you'd previously tagged/noted/bookmarked that page in Keep. At some point and for reasons unknown to me, that facility was removed. Consequently, it's now very easy to note the same page repeatedly and be unaware that you may have previously recorded thoughts about that page's content. Long story short. They completely broke my workflow.

• (2023-09-06) T. M.: Gosto muito do Keep. O que falta nele é uma função tipo web clipper do Evernote. Há a extensão "Salvar no Google Drive", mas não é a mesma coisa. Edição: 06 set 2023 - O add-on tem travado muito.. Depois de insistir em usá-lo por vários meses, resolvi desinstalá-lo. É mais fácil favoritar o Keep na barra de favoritos, abrir o Keep por lá e salvar o que deseja.

Cuando doy click derecho en una imagen en cualquier página web, se despliega el menú contextual que te da la opción de guardar el sitio web o la imagen. Si decido seleccionar el sitio web, todo bien, pues captura el link del sitio; el problema está en si solo quiero guardar la imagen, ya que no la guarda, sino, de la misma forma que la otra opción, solo guarda el enlace del sitio, es decir, lo único que vez en las notas cuando entras a keep son los enlaces y no las fotos que guardaste. Ojalá pudieran corregir esto. Saludos.
• (2023-08-29) Andrew Manickar: Occasionally, it works perfectly. Other times (probabaly ~70%), after clicking "Create note", it loads forever. This can usually be fixed by clicking out of the extension, opening it again, and clicking "Create note" again.

• (2023-08-16) sukhdeep gill: I'm primarily invested in keep for many years now but lately the chrome extension wants me to click on create note to save highlights; the labour is lost when accidentally a web page is closed without having clicked on 'create note' in keep extension. It keeps me conscious (and actually stressed)all the time while being on the web page and once it's clicked the note blocks me from saving any further highlights and asks me to visit the Keep app or web page !.... This should be done away with or Google should introduce its own web page highlighter just as Liner app, etc
