• (2023-03-06) Dan Jarvis: It really bothers me that the the scroll to view previous earth views is backwards. When you scroll up the view moves down and when you scroll down the view moves up. It is maddening 😆 Still a good extension.

I have had many comments from people who are looking at a website with me that the love the pictures in new tabs/windows. My only suggestion is to please update the font color that names the location so that it can be clearly read on every image. Even outlining the font letters in black would help tremendously. Thanks for a great product!

  First... the shot's you pick are great. I really enjoy them. Thank you for the simplicity of it! Since they are so good, I'm almost always curious of the subject location. This has become a source of frustration. It seems that the font is always white. Many of the pictures have light/white areas in them or throughout them. I would guess that 75% (low-balling here) of the time, I cannot make out the location due to the font not contrasting with the background. On some, I can barely make out the small globe, also white, that pinpoints the location. On others, I can at least guess which counties are outlined. (I have many sample screenshots to share but I don't see a place to attach them.) Of course, on my desktop computers, I can click the link and open Earth and check it out. I prefer not to on my mobile computers because I'm trying to keep them lean and am usually working. Anyway... sampling the background and choosing an appropriate font shade would be awesome. Next best might be to run a script to gather the most common background colors and choose a default font color that would be a better contrast than white.
