Picture-in-Picture (PiP) allows you to watch videos in a floating window (always on top of other windows) so you can keep an eye on what you’re watching while interacting with other sites, or applications.

Nice feature. Really helped me doing my task easier also supports when browser is minimized but gives glitches sometimes when video is played in playlist like it doesn't update the timer related setting as the next video loads. Also forward and backward then becomes useless feature as time isn't accurate.

Thank you, google team. It's genuinely extremely useful. Better than getting a 2nd monitor for me cause I don't have to move my head as much when it's all on the same screen :) Note: Sometimes it is automatic like on YouTube when you open their Miniplayer. But the extension actually works on any page with a video playing on it as long as you Alt + P (⌥ + P on macOS) on that page.

really good for youtube. the recent update stopped support for netflix and D+ (only others i could check). I hope a patch comes out to fix these support issues.

This extension is really great, there are only 4 flaws. -First is the fact that you cant skip adds in miniplay. -Second, there isn't any setting button, so you cant change the quality, cant add subtitle, increase or decrease the volume etc. -And third, if you want your screen to be in any corner of your screen, during an ad, it will move a bit

It was DEFINITELY a 5 star (and to be honest if it is just Youtube doing this i will change it to 5 star), but videos no longer being able to be queued up while searching for more videos to play in a queue. GREAT ITEM to be able to have if works correctly for you!! Beats the hell out of buying a 2nd monitor. thank you.

Works like a charm. A little _too_ well actually. Whenever I play a video on youtube, and then switch tabs, it automatically tunrs the PiP on. That'd be fine if I hadn't disable automatic PiP. Now I can't listen to videos in the background, the PiP is just.. always working and there's no way for me to dismiss it without turning off the extension lol

If I am enabling picture-in-picture. This must be on top of all windows, however, it gets hidden whenever the focus is changed or clicked outside the window.

It forces me to mouse hover the video to get rid of this undesired white glow effect on the Picture-in-picture video. I don't like this white glow effect that was introduced recently.

Inexplicably automatic pip (BETA) works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't on YouTube and other such sites. Its a good extension otherwise, but you've got to fix the bugs.

It is a decent extension, but as of currently it has the same problem as many other picture-in-picture apps. When doing something else, the mouse can still click on the small window. This means that mouse-intensive mouvement gaming, for exemple, is out of the question, since you will accidentally click on the window's pause, exit, or change the time of the video you're watching accidentally while aiming. Is there hope to see a function added to make it intangible to the mouse? ( And possibly one to set the transparency of the window. ). These two things alone would make it go from 3 star to 5 in a heartbeat.

Works ok on some video players on certain sites. However on YouTube, a Google owned product, it does not switch to PiP automatically.

I've noticed it causes complete screen flickering at high refresh rates when active while moving the curser over playing media in certain websites (notably twitter and youtube). I was getting a head-ache wracking my brain trying to find the root cause and it was PIP...

Has been working great for the time ive been using it, but just today it started moving on its own. It seemed to avoid blocking a File Explorer window, but then moved back when I closed it. Otherwise, it moves on its own even when nothing around it moves. For reference, I am currently using it for Twitch streams.
