Description from store This browser extension tracks how many ads are inserted into a social feed, like Facebook's news feed and Twitter's timeline; highlights those ads in the feed; and displays in a popup window how many ads were inserted compared to how many organic posts. To use the extension, visit Facebook or Twitter in your desktop browser. As you scroll through your feed, ads will be highlighted as they appear. To see information about how many ads have been loaded into the feed, the ratio of ads to organic posts and the position of each ad in the feed, click on the extension's icon to the right of the browser's menu bar, which will open a popup window. You can leave the window open as you scroll further down the feed and click the refresh button to see updated information.

  • (2017-02-21) Sandra Proulx Rand: Super interesting to see what the ratio is of my feed's organic posts to sponsored/paid. I work in advertising and this helps me stay informed for clients but also gives me easy ability to skip around and see who's targeting me. When I'm looking to take a screenshot of certain ad types or advertisers, this is also a big time saver. Nice work.
