Block Yourself from Analytics
Block your Google Analytics™ activity for the websites you own, no more false stats.
Extension is meant for webmasters to block their own visits for their websites thus avoiding false stats.
Easy to manage website list accepts domain names with wildcards. It is not meant to block Google Analytics™ script for all websites, I don't support that so please don't ask for this ability.

Requires at least Chrome v63
:: How to use?
Open extension settings, go to websites list and add all your websites to the list. You can use "example.com" or "www.example.com" for exact match OR use wildchar like "*example.com" to match example.com with all it's subdomains. Note that if you put dot between wildchar and domain name you would only match subdomains and not your naked domain name.
Extension is available for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Opera.

Really unfortunate that this got taken down. It worked like a charm. I hope this will be revived!
It was a simple yet valuable extension that now it is blocked by Chrome. If anyone can share an alternative into reviews section I will appreciate.
It's good - but is flagged as incompatible with Chrome and will be removed...
It would be useful to declare how this is making the blocking. It may be too broad. Because we discovered that it blocked many other things than GA. For instance, it blocks Cookieyes Consent management. Which might cause legal issues down the line. It seems to also block GTM events or other cookie management on the site. For instance our site create special cookies based on the landing URL. Those cookies were not set. So if the DEV would explain what is happening, or give options to only block GA, but not the other it would make this more transparent and more usable/legal.
Our team uses this all the time (thank you, by the way--we also recommend it to colleagues)! We are getting a similar message to the reviewer blow, "This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions." Should we watch this space for updates? FYI I tried to use the Contact form on your site, but it's not working. Thanks again!

Works as intended. Hope it stays as an option on Chrome.
Great extension! I hope Igor can find some free time to update it with the new Chrome requirements. It would be a real shame if such a simple and good extension disappeared from the store.
This extension blocks Google Tag Manager on Chrome. I even hired someone to try to fix my GTM, only to find out after narrowing it down that this extension was the issue. The extension is great when it's actually working, but PLEASE fix this issue so that no one else has to go through it.

So far awesome. I don't know much about internet and ip and coding, so this was super easy for me to set up. I tested this out by using "real time" in google analytics and it works fine so far.

Well, it does what it says. I have no problems. Great to use this rather than have to sort out the exclusion rules.
