  • (2022-08-25) Alfonso Luna: I use other REST api test tools, but this is the only one that allows me to debug my code in phpStorm as it runs in the the browser in localhost and generates xdebug messages that can be traced. I don't understand why anyone that uses such a useful tool FOR FREE should rate it badly. Thank you very much Paul!!!
  • (2022-08-10) Brad M: This is one of the best REST tools I have ever used and its consistant between Windows, Linux, And Mac. strongly recommend.
  • (2022-08-04) Eric Conner: Its nice and handy.. missing some UI features that would make it more user friendly. Mainly being able to search the body of the requests, and making it easier to store/organize requests.

  • (2021-01-27) Ali Khosro: Simple and efficient! works as expected without all those new annoying bugs and features and annoyance you find in Postman. I highly recommend it. Indeed, after disappointment with some of REST Clients such as postman and ARC, I decided to write a simple rest client for myself (and others) but I searched chrome-store and find this extension. It does what it should do. My suggestion to author: please keep it as simple as it is. If you want to make money out of it, just place a few small adds. Please do not try to build a business out of it as Postman did.
  • (2021-01-27) Олександр Курочка (by.haskell): Nice and stable application. The functionality works and has never crashed. Thank you!!!
  • (2020-12-08) Used postman - but it's getting heavy after each updates - This is the simplest and lightest among all other tools
  • (2020-11-26) johnny brasseur: Excellent , ne faisant que du Json je n'en vois pas les limites pour le moment. Peut être que charger/décharger un contenu (payload ou response) serait un plus . Merci pour ce chouette outil .

  • (2018-04-06) Jarosław Szopa: The best one; for testing RESTful services. Many thanks.
  • (2018-03-22) Pet Er: The same criticism applies to this extension, so I'll just copy it again. Returned links are not clickable, you have to paste them manually to follow them. This kills usability. Additionally, it should support templated links. As it stands it is better to use an extension to display JSON and the developer console.
  • (2018-02-22) Theresa T: GET/PUT/POST, no problem what's so ever. Love it!
  • (2018-02-12) Satya Sidhartha: Best REST test tool I have used till now.. Keep up the good work.
  • (2018-01-25) Darren Gill: This client was really helpful in my efforts to build SharePoint Workflows. Other people have reported that it is limited in only sending JSON, I can't comment on that point, but for analysis of SharePoint content responses and what I need to build SPD 2013 workflows this has been a gift horse!

  • (2022-02-15, v:1.1.5) Peter Boudreau: Response cookies are not displayed in the Response Headers tab
Using developer tools in Chrome, I can see the full response header to a POST request as follows: Content-Length: 0 Date: Tue, 15 Feb 2022 23:20:02 GMT Expires: Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 GMT Set-Cookie: LWSSO_COOKIE_KEY=V8vVkW_TfFEhylu7Pua8zTl8YQgKxlifXAlALuHRe-Z7zcaP9sQ2JMNzgnjcCwOtNyxQyPevL16UWmjB4JF96BRdBh93yJpOvbidunxjNFtKJBUKP0RMOoTcUi3jvc6SXYBvQrGfC3uExLvsE4bNSMpHjDQn-iQYMGJvQrDKZtKFU6Q4Bd3QtJWcq8FnMWlXHhvqrheskwMtGUKUH6qwUU4liFpjZwsvs9AkwDkrtShcekgDCemLHvaJQvdNM88LHc9OG7bTymcObQVremE3NJj93oIRicLsgcmE9_-P9wJFDlYoP5JmhqIvi44yVG;Path=/;HTTPOnly X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff X-Powered-By: ARR/3.0 X-XSS-protection: 1; mode=block However, within YARC, the 'Set-Cookie' attribute is omitted: { "content-length": "0", "date": "Tue, 15 Feb 2022 23:20:02 GMT", "expires": "Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 GMT", "x-content-type-options": "nosniff", "x-powered-by": "ARR/3.0", "x-xss-protection": "1; mode=block" } The expiration date signals deletion of the cookie, but nevertheless, I believe the Set-Cookie attribute should still be shown. Is this a bug or is there a good reason for the behaviour?

  • (2020-02-12, v:1.1.2) Mario Valle: Seems YARC does not work with HTTP2
I use YARC to debug a server built with Node.js and using HTTP2 createSecureServer(). If I contact https://localhost:4321/ it gives a -1 status. Instead, if I switch to HTTP based server that uses createServer(), it works flawlessly. Where I'm wrong? Thanks for clarifying! mario

YARC has been great for working with the API for a learning management system my university uses. Currently, though, I have to copy responses to the clipboard and paste them into files if I want to save the output. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to directly download the responses.
  • (2017-11-08, v:1.1.1) ri chas: Keeps saying its corrupt
Each time I click on the icon to open the extension, the icon disappears and the site isn't displayed. If I go back into extensions, it is still listed but it says "this extension has been corrupted". There is a repair button which brings it back, but even after that when I click to open it again, the same thing happens. I also tried completely removing it and reinstalling it. That made no difference.
