• (2023-02-08) Ido Monzon: It does have nice features that other extensions don't have (such hovering a price to convert it or auto convert the entire page), yet, it doesn't work as smooth as it should and also the conversion is pretty bad as the price is higher because it rounding it, some times to the closest 10th and sometimes to the closest 100th (that made about 80₪ rounding up that equals to more than 20€). I wish that it was the best one as it described by many reviews here, but it seems like they haven't check this deep enough to see the big issues.

It keeps automatically converting during the post so the line I was writing on is instantly moved up there and messing up my sentence flow. Sometimes it even causes the post to be exited out of. I thought this was non intrusive. Please tell me how to fix this

• (2021-12-04) Lucian Andries: Awesome!🧡 I see it has improved a lot since I last saw it, and to the better.👍👍 The "Disable Currency" is genius!🧡 Yeah, my Country and a Neighboring Country have similar currency symbols, and all other extensions would convert prices to the other country, instead of mine... Good riddance!!!🤬 My Country Romania has "LEI (RON)", and the other Country has "LEI (MDL)". The difference between is the countries' economy, meaning a huuuuge difference in price conversion! Glad that's over with!! Hopefully... The only things I suggest now is: 1. Can you make it show a small overlay, instead of adding some text? On top you put the original currency and price, and below you put a couple currencies of our own choosing. And it auto-converts the price to all the chosen currencies. And more specific, convert from Everything, into those currencies we chose. 2. And the small overlay have a decent size font, to be easily read. And it should appear ONLY when we click/hover on a number that has a Currency Symbol. Because I've seen other extensions that literally convert every random numbers on pages, despite not having Currency Symbols. Numbers like: street numbers, phone numbers, math equations, etc........ Example of trigger Symbols: $, £, €, USD, GBP, EUR. It should trigger conversions ONLY when it detects Currency Symbols next to numbers! With this, it will be perfect!🧡

There are situations where I don't want the conversion to happen but I still want the extension around. It's a pain to have to go the the extensions page and manually turn it off. 2. For USD to INR, it rounds it off to the nearest major value (e.g 15,235 gets rounded to 15000). Can we not do that? 3. In INR terminologies, we normally use "lakhs" and "crores" which has a different comma formatting than millions and billions. Would it be possible to incorporate that logic for INR specifically? Happy to help contribute if the code is open source.

• (2020-02-02) Michael Adrian: I will rate it 5 stars even if is not working for me as intended. It would be flawless, but, take Aliexpress for example, you can`t convert a price of an item properly, if that item has more options. Example: - you want to buy a pc but it has 2 categories with these options: - 1st category: cpu i3, cpu i5 - 2nd category no ssd, with ssd, with ssd and ram. - when you select for example, cpu i3 and no ssd , the conversion works (hovering with Shift shortcut). BUT only that time. - if you wanna see the price for cpu i5 with ssd, the same hovering remains with the price of previous selected configuration ( cpu i3 and no ssd), and this is more confusing than anything. Basically you end up viewing the same price ( converted or not) for both the i5 and the i3. The only resolve i saw is by reloading the page. I still gave it 5 stars because for other sites with normal pricing listed it works, and is a beautiful design/concept. I hope this would be fixed ( or maybe I`m doing something wrong?).

It's not entirely clear how blacklisting sites work because even if I set gmail.com not to hang (as most of the times I am almost sure the converter is parsing the tons of data on screen) It is trying to find the numbers to convert later. More feedback on whether a site is actually "non parsed" or disabled the extension on would be good.

  Hello again! Can I ask for a small implementation? So the way it works now, it works with 1 currency at a time. Can you make it work with multiple currencies at a time? For example I need 3 currencies to work all at once, LEI, USD and GBP. And it works like this: When you click on a price having 1 of the 3 currencies, it should convert it to both the other 2 currencies. This helps when I want to know how much our prices would be in other countries... But this will work better with a very small popup element. On top, the original price, and under it divided by a line, the other 2 converted prices. That way there won't be any confusion to what is shown on the page...

  Hey there, I'm loving the extension, thanks so much for developing it! I have a feature request: an option to display trailing zeroes (eg, the zero at the end of $1.30). For example, right now if the extension converts Euros to Dollars and the result is $1.30, it will display as "$1.3". It would be great if the extension could display "$1.30" instead. While it's a small change, it makes it easier to parse prices at a glance because in the US prices are always displayed with two decimal points. Either way, thanks again for the extension!

  Hi, thanks for the great extension. I have a bug and a request. 1. the localization alert pops up on various sites even if I have it turned off in options. It's not particularly useful, so I'd like to be rid of it. If you want an example to reproduce, try Steam (https://store.steampowered.com/). 2. for JPY, in Japanese sites it's usually written e.g. 1300円, which the extension is not currently detecting. I guess just adding 円 as a currency symbol should work. (For completeness, the Chinese format is ¥ 35.00 if you want to support that too.)

  Hi, Something about this page https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32729160328.html Totally breaks the plugin. Just as the yellow flash of color over text that is changed it locks pegs the cpu and chrome becomes unresponsive. The only thing that fixed it was turning off the plugin. I tried restarting chrome several time but it did nothing and that page screwed it up every time. I had notice other aliexpress pages locking like that before since i installed the plugin but i didn't recognize it was for 100% sure the plugins fault before today. I hope it happens to you to otherwise it will be harder to fix. Good luck. And i love the plugin by the way. If i can request an feature it would be nice if it converted billion and million correctly. Like for example in youtube titles saying something like "So and so payed 50 USD million", but then the plugin don't include the text value for the conversion and only do a for me " "So and so payed 50 USD (465 SEK) million" Instead writing 465 000 SEK. It looks weird like how it does it now. And it only happens with "million and billion" text values so i hope it could be easy to implement.   It doesn't want to convert my country's currency into anything, at all! What does it have against "Romanian Leu (RON)"??? Or is it because I disabled the dumb "Moldovan Leu (MDL)"? Oh I see the error, the currency is "Lei", NOT "Leu"! The extension is looking for "Leu" on the page and doesn't find any... Well this is just a guess. But here is the most visited Romanian online store, to see wth is wrong, "www.emag.ro". Also, we write prices in the most retarded way possible........ And this will help you make the extension recognize the CORRECT number. We don't separate the decimals from the number, we write them in "superscript"... Retarded, I know. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ So hopefully you can fix this issue. Thank you!

  Hi, Thanks for the amazing extension. I ran into a very small issue. Basically some countries dont use the exact international code for their currency such as turkey. Turkish lira is recognized as TRY internationally but I noticed they keep writing TL or some unicode symbol of theirs. Is there a way to alias currencies ? Thanks again

  It's awesome, and actually working! Some suggestion, though? -Please make it convert only the numbers I manually select, not the entire pages! -Also a good idea, is to change the currency you want it converted to, from just right clicking on the selected "price" numbers, and not going into the extension's menu. -And without rounding the numbers. I disabled the option and set it to zero, but it still made a 20 out of a 19... :( -Lastly, remove the "whitelist/blacklist" from clicking on it. Move that in its menu, and put "Turn On/Off" as the first thing you see, when you click on it. Because I was on an actual Bank to use it's converter, and didn't know if it was the Bank's results, or the freaking extension's results............ :| Thank you! And hope you decide to make it perfect. ;)
