Description from extension meta

An implementation of RDFa processing in the browser.

Image from store Green Turtle RDFa
Description from store An implementation and viewer of RDFa 1.1 (http://www.w3.org/TR/rdfa-core/) triples. When triples are discovered in a web page, a little green turtle will appear in the address bar. If you click on that turtle, you can view the triple graph. This extension only has access to information you have on the current web page. It does not use the information except to harvest the triples and create a visualization. It will run for every page you view. You can use the extension management in the preferences to enable or disable the extension depending on your needs. Version 1.1 includes support for Turtle output and URI shortening. Version 1.2 includes option Microdata support. See http://www.milowski.com/journal/entry/2013-07-26T15:25:04.782Z/

  • (2015-06-14) Nicolaie Szabadkai: Very very useful. Sometime the graph is a bit scrambled.
  • (2014-09-17) Gerard Devine: This is good and I really like the visualisation. Unfortunately it crashes for me when it is faced with anything more than simple rdfa.
  • (2014-08-13) Philip Trembath: Really good when it works. Unfortunately it only works 2% of the time.
  • (2014-06-16) Dan Scott: The turtle icon often shows up, however clicking on it usually results in nothing more than a "Waiting for triples..." that never returns.
  • (2014-04-18) Andreas Galazis: Awesome plugin thanks!
  • (2013-08-12) The icon in the top bar is not appearing. I was using normally until the icon stopped appearing on the bar. Can it be because of some update chrome?
  • (2012-08-14) Slava Krauchanka: Somehow it won't work for me at a first click (after the browser is started) on the green turtle - I'm just shown a blank graph. Closing the page with the graph and clicking the turtle icon for a second time helps. But other than the glitch above, it's good, with the funky graph visualization and a clear SPO table. May I suggest an "Import/Save as" button to save the graph to a local file?

  • (2015-01-20, v:1.2.0) J van Driel: Please add support for a new proposed microdata property: itemprop-reverse
Hi Alex, My name is Jarno van Driel, Semantic SEO and contributor to the further development of schema.org over at the schema.org discussion group: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-vocabs/ I would like to ask you if you would consider adding support to your extension for a new proposed microdata attribute: @itemprop-reverse. This attribute does more or less the same as the @itemprop only in reversed order. More details about this property can be read on: http://www.w3.org/wiki/WebSchemas/InverseProperties The reason why I ask if you would consider adding support for it, is because of the approval process over at the W3. For this property to get accepted by the W3 and added to the microdata specs, we (the folks behind the proposal) need to show there are multiple tools out there that are able to consume this property. First to support this new property upfront is the Structured Data Linter: http://linter.structured-data.org/, but unfortunately this isn't enough to build a proper case yet. And hence my message to you. Hoping to hear from you, Jarno van Driel ([email protected])
  • (2014-04-15, v:1.2.0) Laura Krier: large sets of triples?
This doesn't seem to work very well on documents that have a large number of triples. Has anyone else encountered this? It says "Waiting for triples" and never loads them.
  • (2013-11-19, v:1.2.0) Dan Scott: Green Turtle Chrome extension loads then crashes
The first test RDFa document that I tried (http://stuff.coffeecode.net/schema.org/evergreen/library/BR4) loaded, started to show the visualization, then promptly crashed. This happens every time that I try it. In another test document, http://stuff.coffeecode.net/schema.org/evergreen/library_schema_copies.html, "There were too many triples harvested from this document to render." Please document whatever the limitation is in the overview for the extension! I'm running Chrome Version 32.0.1700.14 beta on Linux (x86_64_). Thanks!
