Business model notwhitstanding, the user experience has been degraded, the auth does not work properly and I find myself logging in again every once in a while, multiple times a day, when I open a new tab. I can't even search something quickly on the address bar that it gets replaced by daily.dev login URL.

• (2023-09-05) Nicholas Moline: I've been a user of daily.dev for some time, and I like the _service_ great, if rating the service, 5 stars. My problem is with the extension. I understand the recent change to require permissions to update javascript on all websites so that you can put your little sidebar on sites after following a link from a news article, keeps the conversation thread flowing, that _would_ be fine... except that it doesn't work and it breaks other sites. With that permission on, many other sites hang, especially when following a link from the daily.dev feed, the pages hang and eventually crash, pulling up the dreaded "would you like to wait or exit site" dialog from chrome. It turns out that for some reason the javascript being injected doesn't play well with other sites and the result is a crash. Going into my extension settings and changing the permission from all sites to only working on daily.dev fixes this problem and other sites are no longer hanging on load.
