This app adds an Item to chrome's context menu when you selected a text then you can click on it to go to translate.google.com and see the translation of the word. You also can change you default language from option page.

The toolbar you mentioned as SPAM (I agreed that and now it's removed) was suggestion from a site to make it profitable. I didn't know what they wanted to do with that. I recover the extension so It's not SPAMing now and It's not doing anything with your privacy (it's secure now. You can see the code on github: https://github.com/ahmadalli/ChromeGTranslate/)

I just found that this extension secretly installs a toolbar and spamware extension. It doesn't do it right away, and it's not clear how it happens. So if you suddenly see a toolbar called, "ToFind" and other 'coupon' pop-ups you didn't expect... it's because of Gtranslate. Avoid this extension.

Я очікував на більше. Шукаю на лінукс перекладача швидкого(через інтернет), нічого толкового щось немає((. На віндовс був дуже зручний QTranslate, чи є такий на Лінукс ОС?

Impeccable, traduction d'un simple clic droit qui nous envoie vers la page google traduction avec le mot prérentré. Plus efficace que l'extension Google officielle \o/ (Et surtout, ne demande aucune autorisation intrusive comme le font ses concurrents) Edit : Modif de l'appli, elle demande maintenant "l'accès à toutes les données sur tous les sites web" comme ses concurrentes... >>> Je désinstalle. Dommage.
