Image from store Launch and DTM Switch
Description from store Allows environment selection and debug toggling for DTM and Launch, by Adobe. This handy extension from the analytics team at Search Discovery allows you to select environments for Adobe Launch and to toggle the debug and staging mode for Adobe Dynamic Tag Management. The debug mode tells the DTM or Launch library to add application messaging to the console. The staging mode for DTM uses the staging library instead of the production library. For sites using Adobe Launch, the switch allows easy switching of environments within a property. Once installed, an icon will appear in the address bar when a site has Adobe Launch or DTM installed. Click on the icon to expose the control panel. Notice of anonymous usage tracking: This extension tracks anonymous usage data. This data helps us understand usage patterns in order to provide a better product. We track interactions within this extension and nothing else. If you would like to opt out of this tracking, just press the gear icon in the upper right of any panel and click “No.” --------------- v2.0.8 Update Notes - Support for 99 Environments per Launch Property (previously 25) v2.0.7 Update Notes - Updated Launch API Endpoint v2.0.6 Update Notes - Added support for DTM linked launch properties - Added "Clear Environments" button on the settings tab - Allow for Launch debugging to be activated when no environments are recorded Our overhaul of this extension is part of Search Discovery’s larger commitment to the Launch, by Adobe platform and to our clients as they migrate. Latest reviews (2019-11-12) Matthew Lindley: This makes working with Launch so much easier. I gave it 4 stars because it's missing a key feature: the ability to load the unminified libraries. If you remove the "min." from a file then you get a version of the file you can read. This would save so much manual poking and reversioning. Then it's 5 stars all the way. Other than that, still a great addition to the toolset. (2019-10-09) Max Huddleston: This tool was working fine for us up until recently, now we are unable to switch between test environments. I'm not sure if adobe made some update that makes this extension incompatible now? (2019-02-15) Magnus Lien: Fix the environment switcher, having to visit the environments tab just to "record" envs is bad enough, but now it doesn't work at all anymore. (2018-04-16) Lorrie X: I can't imagine activating any site without this extension. It's crucial to be able to work well with Launch or DTM (even better, it does both!) (2018-04-03) Marcelo Capucci: This is an essential tool for anyone working in Launch/DTM implementation. It also makes much easier to switch between environments. (2018-03-27) Jennifer Kunz: This tool is so incredibly helpful- pretty much essential for anyone working in Launch/DTM. Latest issues (2019-11-04, v:2.0.8) Edward Bulfango: can DTM switch work on local hosted script?
Just curious If the launch/dtm script will be hosted locally, any possible way to have DTM switch pickup all lower environments?
(2019-09-09, v:2.0.7) Guillaume Noss: Environment switcher doesn't work
I cannot switch between environment anymore. Yet I visited the environment page of Launch. I constantly get the message on the extension: "To use the environment switcher visit Launch"
(2019-08-13, v:2.0.7) Elisa C.: Build Info Not Updating
Hi, I noticed an issue with the build date not updating correctly. On our client's website, while using the switch, it would not update to the most recent build. Also, when I switched to the staging environment via the switch and reloaded, it did not change in the build info. current (using the switch): _satellite.buildInfo = {buildDate: "2019-08-13T15:49:28Z", environment: "development"} expected (using adobe experience cloud debugger): _satellite.buildInfo = {buildDate: "2019-08-13T20:26:45Z", environment: "development"}
(2019-08-09, v:2.0.7) Launch and DTM Switches no Showing
When I navigate to one of my DTM web properties, the Launch and DTM plugin becomes enabled (goes from gray to full color). However, when I click on it, I do not get the switches. I get a link back to Chrome Plugin page and a "This can read and change site data...", Hide, Remove, and "Options" which is grayed out. This is the site in question: https://www.cfainstitute.org/
(2019-07-22, v:2.0.7) Udo Schmittek: Licence Terms
Hello, Where can I find your licence terms? I could not find them anywhere on the website or the browser add-on’s download page. Could you please provide the licence terms or any kind of statement concerning this? Thank you!
(2019-07-18, v:2.0.7) Pavel Zagoskin: Does not uninstall!
I uninstalled this, and I still get DTM/Satellite output in the console.
(2019-04-11, v:2.0.7) Hayley Luke: Redirected back to the chrome landing page.
When launching, it takes me back to the landing page.
(2019-04-11, v:2.0.7) Joris de Beer: Load un-minified scripts
When loading from non-production environments, it would be great if the full script could be referenced instead. For example, below is the script from a development environment that DTM Switch loads by default: https://assets.adobedtm.com/launch-EN79d90fe211ba46bc9c54f1ec763ad805.min.js It would be awesome is the '.min.' was removed, as these gives us the full script with comments! https://assets.adobedtm.com/launch-EN79d90fe211ba46bc9c54f1ec763ad805.js Many thanks for building the tools that Adobe should be providing!
(2019-04-01, v:2.0.7) Redirected back to Chrome Webstore
When trying to activate DTM switch by pressing "Launch and DTM switch" on my webpages, I am redirected back to the Chrome webstore. I have read through a few of the comments and a few other users are having the same issue.
(2019-02-27, v:2.0.6) Jan Exner: Add "unminify Launch code" toggle
Hi Guys! Love your extension to bits! Would be totally awesome if you could add a toggle: "unminify Launch code" or something like that, for easier troubleshooting. All it would have to do would be to remove the "min." from the URL when the browser loads the Launch library...
