“X Repost Omitted” is an extension that hides reposts on X (formerly Twitter). It's a handy tool for users who don't want to see reposts, reducing noise in their timeline.
Once installed, reposts displayed on your X timeline will be automatically hidden. They are not permanently deleted; you can still view hidden reposts by clicking the “▼” icon below the post. This makes it ideal for users who want to avoid seeing reposts but still want to know what content is being reposted.

- This extensions really needs more love, it completely cleaned up my Twitter account so now my following tab just shows people I'm following; no dealing with unwanted retweets or having to manually disable it for the hundreds of accounts I follow.

- You should rename it to remove retweets so more people find it and not indicate any reposts hidden to look cleaner. overall I couldn't ask for more from something I have always wanted. I never understood the point of reposts/retweets as a form of self expression.
