Dalton is software allowing people with different kinds of color blindness (colour vision deficiency) to see more colors.
Dalton provides solutions to some of the everyday problems experienced by colour blind people. People with various types of colour deficiency could benefit from the use of Vision software including those affected by Tritanopia (blue colour vision deficiency), Deuteranopia (green), Protanopia (red).
People generally have the assumption that if you suffer from blue-yellow color blindness these are the only colors you have trouble seeing. But that’s wrong. Color blindness doesn’t relate to just two color shades you can’t distinguish, it is the whole color spectrum which is affected.
The extension is totally free.The main aim is to help people to see the world colorful.

Extension is broken. As of very recently (this week), it blanks out every page that I look at. Chrome of MacOS, Version 115.0.5790.98 (Official Build) (arm64). Developer links are Used to LOVE this utility, as it allowed me to see the subtleties in graphs and data representations that were not made for colorblind people.

It really works! It also affects colors in images not only texts ang e.g. backgrounds of the pages.

Sou daltônico (deuteranomaly). Só não leva 5 estrelas porque todas as vezes preciso recarregar a página para aplicar o filtro. Tentei contato com o suporte, mas, deu página não encontrada. Será que conseguem corrigir isso para nós? Ou seja, se habilito o filtro, deveria aplicar para todos os sites sem precisar recarregar.
I almost cried! I installed the extension, configured the sliders, refreshed the page and couldn't believe my eyes. I'm almost 36 years old and this is the FIRST TIME I could see what others always saw and took for granted. I never knew the difference between two colors could be so stark and obvious!! I'm so overwhelmed right now. THANK YOU. This has changed my life. I'm certainly more motivated now to get color blindness glasses.

Le doy 5 estrellas simplemente porque funciona. Llevo toda la tarde haciendo tests online de daltonismo con y sin el filtro habilitado y potenciando una configuración u otra. ¿Resultado? Sin la extensión habilitada me dice que soy daltónico nivel medio (¡o incluso alto!) y con ella habilitada me dice que veo perfectamente. A las pruebas me remito, lo estoy compartiendo con mis conocidos daltónicos. ¡Mil gracias y enhorabuena por el trabajazo! Vamos a difundirla, que de verdad es buena.

On the left sidebar, select Color filters under the Vision section. Enable the Turn on color filters slider. cannot see any difference, so matter where i place the sliders

I thought it wasn't working, but the setup test screen just doesn't react to the color slider. This is actually a really helpful extension. 1 star off because of the false positive in the setup screen. I doubt I would give any color-blindness filter 5 stars anyway because while my overall viewing is better, a few things I use daily are now hard to read due to the reduction in green contrast.

Finally a Colour Correction software with Severity slider! I am a very mild protan and therefore whenever I try any correction software, the colours look odd. This severity slider is the solution. I wish every other software had something like this.
