Easily share images while using Google Chat.
Just drag an image from your desktop onto the chat window and it is automatically uploaded and added to your message.
All links to images in your chat window are converted to clickable thumbnails.
NOTE: Uploaded images are only available for 24 hours.

Links are still showing as links -- not images. Does this only work in the old gchat? or will it work in the new hangouts version of gchat?
This didn't work for me. I typically have about 20 seconds worth of patience for extensions and this one failed to work in the first 20 seconds. Not proud of this but it's true. Sorry.
It could be better, if the pic could be updated direct from the clipboard
This would be cool, but the other person has to also have this extension to have the image in their chat, otherwise, it turns into a link.

great, my only gripe is the file size limit...and that it seemingly filters any and all explicit images...but thats fine in truth, keeps it pg-13 for the kids
Really well implemented, fills a big hole in the chat feature.
This only works if someone else has the plugin installed.
How this isn't automatically part of gchat I won't know... IT ALSO DOES MOVING gif's... Ironically we found this app on 12/21/12 so this may be what the mayans were talking about w.r.t. the end of the world... My world will never be the same..
It would be cool if you were able to embed the images inline and limit the maximum chat window size. When I have multiple image links it makes the chat window very long
