How to Get Started?
π Just a Few Simple Steps:
1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Navigate to any Salesforce Setup page.
3. Click the extension icon or the "+" button next to Object Manager to open the tab settings popup.
4. Enter a name for your tab and either a relative URL (starting with /lightning/) for internal links or a full URL for external links (e.g., https://developer.salesforce.com, www.developer.salesforce.com, or developer.salesforce.com β all formats are supported). Both name and URL are required to save a new tab.
5. Check "New Tab" if you want the link to always open in a new browser tab.
6. Customize the tab color using the color picker, or leave it white.
7. If your link contains a Salesforce object, the "Add Menu" checkbox will be checked by default. This will create a dropdown menu with object-specific links next to the tab name. Uncheck it if not needed.
8. Click the Save button in the top right corner. New tabs won't be saved if the popup is closed without saving.
9. Drag and drop tabs to reorder them, either in the popup window or directly on the tab bar.
10. If you want to transfer your tabs to another device or account, first click Export tabs button, and it will save a json file with your tabs to Downloads. Then install this extension on the new device/account, click Import tabs button and choose the json file exported previously.
11. You're all set!

- (2025-07-23) Andrew Leshchuk: Very useful extension for adding fast access to any page from the setup, not only configs pages but any sf pages
- (2025-07-23) Daniel Pevzner: Indeed convenient extension. Finally I don't need to navigate each time to my custom object definition through "Object manager" searching or to the Deployment setup page.
- (2025-07-16) Tyler DeBoer: Amazing work. It's the simple things π―π―π―
- (2025-07-15) Serhii Pryshchepa: I am used it for a while and I like it! Clean and compact design in pop-up window with drag-n-drop sorting functionality - this is what I missed a lot in other similar extension. And how easy and fast I can add new tabs - it's so simple, really like a browser bookmarks. Also I like colours. While it could be funny to make them all with different colours, I prefer another way: I am adding the same colour for group of tabs, like: - Profile, Permission Set, Permission Set Groups - one colour. - Roles, Queues, Public Group, Sharing Rules - another colour, etc. Thank you for this extension! It saves me time every day. PS: I have a couple ideas of what you can add there: 1. Will be nice to have a logic to build 2 level menu hierarchy. For instance, there is a main tab calls "Permissions" with no URL under it. But, when I press on this tab, it shows me a list of URL-specific tabs, like Profile, Permission Set, Permission Set Groups. It is some kind of grouping of tabs or tab hierarchy. Dunno how to name it correctly. 2. Sometimes I have a need to have a few tabs that should be displayed only on specific orgs. For instance, on Prod I would like to see the "Inbound Change Set" tab, while on Full Sandbox I need both "Inbound Change Set" and "Outbound Change Set" tabs. Not a big problem of course, but if you can implement it somehow - will be really nice! :)
- (2025-05-07) Serhii Pryshchepa: I like it! I used to use another extension, but it had a number of limits that are resolved here: I can freely reorder custom tabs and quickly add the new tab via "+" sign, including adding current page. Thank you for it!
