Riddr, pronunciat com /ˈ𝗿𝗶ː𝗱ə/ (lector), és una extensió de Google Chrome que converteix qualsevol text seleccionat en veu. Impulsada pel llegendari motor TTS 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗜𝘁! i tecnologies d'intel·ligència artificial d'última generació, Riddr ofereix les veus més autèntiques semblants a les humanes del mercat de forma 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨Ï𝗧𝗔. Combinat amb una interfície fàcil d'utilitzar, estàs a un clic de convertir els teus llibres electrònics preferits, notícies en línia, documents i qualsevol altra forma de text en veu en més de 50 idiomes, perquè puguis escoltar en lloc de llegir.

Integrat al nucli de Riddr hi ha 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗜𝘁!, un motor TTS que ofereix més de 50 idiomes amb detecció automàtica d'idioma integrada (https://riddr.com/faq/supported-languages), que permet canviar sense problemes entre diversos idiomes. Riddr també té una integració profunda amb el teu navegador preferit, que et permetrà interactuar amb motors TTS natius, remots o de tercers que ja estan disponibles al teu PC o Mac.

Riddr pot llegir text de qualsevol lloc del web. Llegeix els teus correus electrònics, documents de Google Drive o PDF abans d'enviar-los. Pots utilitzar Riddr per llegir els teus llocs web de notícies preferits, blocs com Medium o fins i tot llibres electrònics, diàriament, sense límit, de franc. Si ho pots veure, probablement Riddr ho pot llegir, així que com l'utilitzis depèn de la teva imaginació.

Llegeix en tot moment, fins i tot si tens problemes de connectivitat o ets en una zona rural remota. El mode fora de línia de Riddr el converteix en l'eina ideal per a l'aprenentatge d'idiomes per a escoles i professors en països en desenvolupament.

Una de les característiques úniques de Riddr, a més de les dreceres de control predefinides com Llegir (𝗔𝗹𝘁+𝗥), Pausar (𝗔𝗹𝘁+𝗣) i Aturar (𝗔𝗹𝘁+𝗦), és la capacitat de tenir múltiples dreceres de teclat vinculades a diferents motors TTS / veus en diferents idiomes, cosa que fa que Riddr no només sigui fàcil d'utilitzar, sinó també molt divertit. Les noves dreceres es poden afegir i configurar molt fàcilment a través del panell d'opcions.
🛠 𝗟'𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜Ó 𝗧𝗧𝗦 𝗠É𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗚𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘
El panell d'opcions fàcil d'utilitzar et dóna un gran control sobre la teva extensió Riddr i et permet afegir-hi el teu toc personal. Aquí tens algunes de les opcions disponibles:
- Personalitza el nivell de volum, la velocitat de parla i el to de veu;
- Predefineix el teu idioma preferit;
- Transcriu una llista de paraules i especifica la seva pronunciació (ideal per a professors i seguretat dels estudiants);
- Activa el Mode de Selecció Automàtica, que extreu i llegeix automàticament el text llegible dels llocs web;
- El Mode de Lectura Automàtica permet als propietaris de llocs web especificar quin contingut s'ha de llegir en entrar a la pàgina, millorant l'accessibilitat.

- (2025-03-07) 2025 update: At first I had trouble finding the extension, as the developer decided to rebrand it. Instead of SpeakIt it is called Riddr now, I liked Speakit better (just the name). SpeakIt was buggy occasionally, but I got used to it and worked just fine for me. However Riddr is 10x improvement over the old extension, the speaking dont interupts as before, simplified UI, I love the ability pick paragraph to be read by clicking on it <3 And the options page, oh god, custom shortcuts is that I waited for! P.S. the controls pause/start work from my airpods

Tried highlighting other pieces of text but the same happened. Very cool idea and nice speech voice, but this issue makes it unusable.
