Riddr, pronunciado como /ˈ𝗿𝗶ː𝗱ə/ (lector), es una extensión de Google Chrome que convierte cualquier texto seleccionado en voz. Impulsado por el legendario motor TTS 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗜𝘁! y tecnologías de inteligencia artificial de última generación, Riddr ofrece las voces más auténticas similares a las humanas en el mercado de forma 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗔. Combinado con su interfaz fácil de usar, estás a un clic de convertir tus e-books favoritos, noticias en línea, documentos y cualquier otra forma de texto en voz en más de 50 idiomas, para que puedas escuchar en lugar de leer.

El panel de opciones fácil de usar te da un gran control sobre tu extensión Riddr y te permite añadirle tu toque personal. Aquí hay algunas de las opciones disponibles:
- Personaliza tu nivel de volumen, velocidad de habla y tono de voz;
- Predefine tu idioma preferido;
- Transcribe una lista de palabras y especifica su pronunciación (ideal para profesores y seguridad estudiantil);
- Habilita el Modo de Selección Automática, que extrae y lee automáticamente el texto legible de los sitios web;
- El Modo de Lectura Automática permite a los propietarios de sitios web especificar qué contenido debe leerse al entrar en la página, mejorando la accesibilidad.

- (2025-03-07) 2025 update: At first I had trouble finding the extension, as the developer decided to rebrand it. Instead of SpeakIt it is called Riddr now, I liked Speakit better (just the name). SpeakIt was buggy occasionally, but I got used to it and worked just fine for me. However Riddr is 10x improvement over the old extension, the speaking dont interupts as before, simplified UI, I love the ability pick paragraph to be read by clicking on it <3 And the options page, oh god, custom shortcuts is that I waited for! P.S. the controls pause/start work from my airpods

Tried highlighting other pieces of text but the same happened. Very cool idea and nice speech voice, but this issue makes it unusable.
