Riddr, prononcé /ˈ𝗿𝗶ː𝗱ə/ (lecteur), est une extension Google Chrome qui convertit tout texte sélectionné en parole. Propulsé par le légendaire moteur TTS 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗜𝘁! et des technologies d'intelligence artificielle de pointe, Riddr offre les voix humaines les plus authentiques du marché 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧. Associé à son interface facile à utiliser, vous êtes à un clic de convertir vos e-books préférés, nouvelles en ligne, documents et toute autre forme de texte en parole dans plus de 50 langues, pour écouter au lieu de lire.

- Personnalisez votre niveau de volume, la vitesse de parole et la hauteur de la voix ;
- Prédéfinissez votre langue préférée ;
- Transcrivez une liste de mots et spécifiez leur prononciation (idéal pour les enseignants et la sécurité des élèves) ;
- Activez le mode de sélection automatique, qui extrait et lit automatiquement le texte lisible des sites web ;
- Le mode de lecture automatique permet aux propriétaires de sites web de spécifier quel contenu doit être lu à l'entrée sur la page, améliorant l'accessibilité.

- (2025-03-07) 2025 update: At first I had trouble finding the extension, as the developer decided to rebrand it. Instead of SpeakIt it is called Riddr now, I liked Speakit better (just the name). SpeakIt was buggy occasionally, but I got used to it and worked just fine for me. However Riddr is 10x improvement over the old extension, the speaking dont interupts as before, simplified UI, I love the ability pick paragraph to be read by clicking on it <3 And the options page, oh god, custom shortcuts is that I waited for! P.S. the controls pause/start work from my airpods

Tried highlighting other pieces of text but the same happened. Very cool idea and nice speech voice, but this issue makes it unusable.
