Video Scrubber for Instagram adds video controls to your videos on Instagram. There's an optional page-level progress indicator that's rull cute. It's salmon.
Bonus Features:
- Keyboard shortcuts to:
* Play/pause
* Jump forward/back 5s
* Increase/decrease the volume of videos
* Change the playback rate from: .25x - 2x
* Play videos in pop-out windows.
- Remember and automatically set your last video volume level.
It does all these things because it cares about you as as person. About your well-being.

Really good to be able to see Instagram reels full screen again. Thanks for providing. As others have reported, the sound muting whenever the video is moved backwards or forwards slightly takes the shine off, but appreciate that if an Instagram default (which I appreciate when on public transport with those who don't seem to think they need headphones...) may be hard to overcome.
Every video starts muted. Any time you move the video forward or backwards, the video becomes muted again. Also mutes on play/pause Which means to hear the start of a video you basically have to fast forward tot he end, unmute and then let it start over naturally.
Do the job but mute the video everytime you press pause... so it's annoying
The volume is always muted when I scroll through reels on Instagram. Every video starts muted, so I press unmute, watch the reel, scroll down, and have to unmute the next one again. This happens every time, making me unmute each reel individually.
Love it, I can FINALLY and easily move forward and back through videos. Can't comment on sound, never have any enabled, always terrible tinny overwrought piano rubbish anyway

The feature for remembering volume level doesn't work for me.
the videos are always auto muted in instagram That is their default feature now every time i have to click that small speaker button to unmute a video What's the point of extension than when i have to manually click. also as it mentioned that pressing spacebar pause the video, i can confirm it doesn't Rest features r working fine please fix these pause and mute function will give it 5/5

There is a SERIOUS CONFLICT with other ig extension,which named Ghost - Anonymous Stories for Instagram ,can cause the stories not full screen played. However,the bar is CONFLICT with message box,they just in the same position here!
Hi, This is a great solution to address one of many malfunctions of Instagram. Please just fix the mute problem, users have been reporting it for a year now. When we pause the video doing anything even moving to another window will cause the video to mute and start play in loop Videos are mute by default, please make it an option not a default. rewinding the video cause it to mute again Please make M keyboard shortcut to toggle between mute/unmute I'd change my review to 5 star if that problem is fixed
hard to use. disables original volume icon. only shows controls when you put mouse over exactly the right area. scrubber is a very short slider.

I have tested it only one one video, and there I had a little problem with adjusting sound level. the shortcuts although enabled did not work. eventually I clicked at the bottom of the video and the the sound returned. Nonetheless, it's a useful extension. Thank you George for creating it :)

Works very unreliably. Controls are only sometimes visible, often breaks posts/stories, where Instagram own UI no longer works.

Since the new visual update of instagram, it's not possible to pause the normal videos, the function only works in AD videos, doesn't make sense, any provision of new updates?

All I wanted was to be able to view Instagram videos in full screen on my PC. Took me an hour to find this extension as an option but so glad I did (thanks to a Reddit post). Thank you! Thank you!

Ads controls, lots of unnecessary options. But it makes videos continuously autoplay, if you pause it and scroll, or change tab it plays again. Needs option to keep videos paused

Works perfectly! I would love to see this also work for the Instagram stories, if that is a possibility. EDIT: Knocked one star for locking the download function on the player behind the pro plan. Why change that now? EDIT 2: Problem has been fixed.
