Tight improves the layout and typography of Slack, so that it is much easier to read your conversations. It also removes a lot of extra buttons, icons, border, shadows, etc that aren't needed and distract you from the conversation.

Seems like it would be great, but did not work as of 3/15/2021. Probably site HTML has changed too much and the extension needs to be adjusted.
